Thank you so much! I am leading a mission team to Ukraine and, at this point will be leading 9, very tired people trying to get back home to Gerogia. Your reply has helped ease my concerns and will allow us to get home 3 hours earlier! We will pray that all goes according to plan! :) Thanks again!

It is Delta flight. The reason you have not seen Delta planes at KBP is that they had flown there in the past and now they resume the flights to Kiev starting at the end of May,2010.
Your layover time is enough since the arrival and departure will be in the same building-Terminal 3.

I am flying into JFK at terminal 1 and my connecting flight is at terminal 4. how do I get to terminal 4 from terminal 1???

Take Airtrain on the third floor of Terminal 1 , on track 1 and get off second stop.

as I am connecting to another airline - do i have to go through immigration or can i jsut collect my luggage and head to my next flight???

From your post is not clear on which airline are you arriving but I will assume is international flight(since all T1 flights are only international). Then you have to collect your bags in order for you to go through US customs. Then you van either recheck them in at connecting flights counter at T1 or take them with you and check them in at T4.

Hi,

We will be flying from Cincinnati and going through JFK to get to London Heathrow. We have a 45 minute layover. Is this enough? We will have our 6 month old with us. Are they flying into/from the same terminal?

Thanks for your help in advance.

Jo

It is kind of tight - hope your flight from CIN won't be late. Is it Delta? If yes, then both flights are out of the same terminal 3.

Hi, my family will come to visit me in Minneapolis and they will spend some time in NY before. They will fly from JFK to MSP and the back to JFK after 8 days with Delta . They get the flight back to Brazil with TAM . I believe they will arrive in Terminal 3, and will depart through Terminal 4 could you confirm this? If so can they walk from one terminal to the other?
My other question is: will be safe to eave their luggage in the storage? which storage place will you think will be more convenient?

Delta flight from Minneapolis arrives at T4. That makes the things easier - there is a luggage storage at T4(1st floor) where they can leave their bags.

Hi,
Are the terminals connected so that I would be able to walk from terminal 5 to terminal 3?
If so, about how long a walk?
Thank you

Technically, it is possible to walk the distance(15-20 min) but I won't suggest you to.
Take Airtrain on the third floor at T5 on track 2 and get off on second stop.

I'm a student traveling abroad this summer. I will be landing at Terminal 3, but need to get to Terminal 4 with 2 large bags and 2 carry on items. Will I be able to do this by myself? How do I get from Terminal 3 to Terminal 4 and how long will that take.

Thank you for your help, as I'm quite anxious about doing this by myself.

Terminal 4 is at walking distance from Terminal 3 . It will take you 5-10 min to either walk or take Airtrain. With that many bags I will suggest you to put all of them on a baggage cart(it cost $5) and take Airtrain across the street from T3, on track 1 and get off next stop.

We have tickets on South African Air JFK-JNB 11:15am-8:40am (next day). We are purchasing tickets for the same day departure for South African Air JNB-VFA 10:55am-12:10pm, and would like to ensure that we will be able to check our luggage all the way to VFA even though the tickets are "separate" and will not have to pick up and re-check in JNB. thank you.
