I am travelling with my 2 kids and am planning to fly from Boston to JFK, then overnight at Marriott at Newark Aiprport and fly to China; doing the reverse on way back .... I plan on flying JetBlue to/from JFK (Continental from Newark to China). It 'appears' the taxi fare from JFK to Newark Airport is @ $75 plus tip and it should take us @ 90 minutes ... is that correct??

The taxi fare from JFK to Newark Airport is on the meter and might be little bit higher. The time length is correct.

Hello,
how long does it take to go by taxi rom JFK to Newark airport ??? Thanks

1hr to 1:30 min depending on the traffic
JFK_E

we are 3 people and will arrive to JFK at 11 pm on Saturday 8 May. We need to go to Manhattan. Are taxi available in the night or is difficult to find them? Is better to book a private car? Is the flat rate available? Thanks

Yellow cabs are available 24/7. Just step in front of the terminal and look for the taxi stand - there is a taxi dispatch that will assist you.

How much is taxi cost from JFK to Manhattan? I wasn't sure if this is the flat rate of $45.00. Please clarify

Only yellow cabs have flat fare of $45.00 plus $5.00 toll plus $0.50 surcharge.
JFK_E

Does the flat rate applies from anywhere in Manhattan to JFK? If not, what is the estimated taxi fare from Midtown to JFK? Which number should I call if I want to schedule a taxi to pick us up at the hotel? Thanks!

The flat fare for yellow cabs (JFK->Manhattan or Manhattan->JFK) applies to ANY point in Manhattan.
New York City is unique in the fact that you cannot pre-arrange a pickup by a New York taxi. All you have to do is just step on the street and hail a cab.
If you want to prearrange taxi service then call one of the private cars(the rate is also flat and may be slightly different than the yellow cab's one):
Here are the websites of two private cars companies that operate at JFK:

Thanks for your reply. We have a flight at 9am from JFK. What would you suggest as the best transportation from Manhattan to JFK and at what time should we leave to get on time for our flight? Is it a problem to get a yellow cab (at the flat rate as you've explained) that early in the morning? Thanks!!
