As long as he is not a green card/visa holder who comes for the first time with an intention to live in US , then he should be fine and OK with that time frame.

Shщrt time between two fligths
Hello
I'll arrive at JFK at 5 p.m. from Moscow (Aeroflot, probably terminal 1). Then I should depart for Austin at 8 p.m. (JetBlue, probably terminal 5). Will I have enough time (3 hours) and what is the best way to get from terminal 1 to terminal 5.

You have plenty of time. Use Airtrain to move between the terminals. Take it at Airtrain station across the streets ат Т1. You can use ANY train on ANY track to transfer to Т5.

Hello,
My mother will arrive in JFK terminal 1 from Beijing, And then take the Delta Airline in terminal 3 to Boston. I would like to know if she will check out of the security? If my friend want to pick her up in terminal 1 to terminal 3 because my mother do not understand english, is it possible? Or may be she could not meet my friend at all because she will not check out of the security?
I do not know what is exactly the process. Please help us. Thank you!

After she clears immigration, pick up her bags and clear customs she will be outside in the open area(Terminal 1 , arrivals,1st floor) where your friend can meet her and take her to Terminal 3.

The only place that might have that is Hotel reservation desk. It is located on the first floor at Terminal4.

travel to manhattan
HI, I am arriving into terminal 4 in a few weeks and was
looking for the best / quickest way to get into manhattan (penn ststion) without having to take a cab. Any help would be much appreciated.

You have two choices:
1. Take NY Airport Service(NYAS) Express bus which leaves every 20 min and you will be in Penn Station in 40-50min. The price is $15.
2. Take Airtrain to Jamaica Station and then take either subway line E or LIRR to Penn Station. It will take you around the same time and the price is $7-$12(it depends on which one you will take-subway or LIRR)

It is the first time for my mother to take the plane in JFK. I would like to know what is the best way to go to the terminal 5 from terminal 1 and how many time she should prepare from the terminal 1 to terminal 5? thank you!

The best way is to use Airtrain. Once at the Airtrain station she has to take ANY train on either side. Terminal 5 is 3 stops away. It will take no more than 5 min on the train.

T7-T8 transfer and security
I will arrive at JFK Terminal 7 on March 29 13:10 from Hong Kong on Cathay Pacific and the connecting flight to Boston is AA4618 departing at 15:25 in Terminal 8, I wonder is time sufficient for me to go through custom, baggage claim, security check , go to Terminal 8 , drop the baggage and security check again. Which level is the Air Tran at Terminal 7 and Terminal 8. Please help and thanks. w kui

You have enough time to do that. Airtrain is located on the second floor across the streets from Terminal 7. At Terminal 8 it is located on the third floor across the streets.

Immigration at NY airport
AI flight 101 comes to DC but it stops at NY airport. I am coming to DC .Do I have to go through the immigration at NY airport. If yes ,is 2.30 hrs enough to go through immigration process and re-check in the baggage and security.
