What time do I need to get to JFK at for a Thursday morning 8:29AM departure American Airlines flight?

Thanks

Hi - I get into JFK on 9th Jan 2010 @ 7:30am and connecting flight doesn't depart until 6pm that evening. So I have about 10hrs to spare - would I have enough time to travel to Statue of Liberty and then maybe spend some time walking round Times Square & Central Park? And if my bags are already checked through due to transfer flight, then what time do you suggest to be back in airport at to get through customs? Many thanks in advance for your response

Kelly, you will have more than enough time. Grab the airtrain to Howard beach then the A train to Manhatten. You can be down at the Statue by 11am easily. Allow 2 hours to visit the statue (pre book your tickets on-line) and then hop back on the subway to get yourself back out to JFK by 4pm. If your running tight for time at anytime grab a cab back out to JFK.

You'd definitely have time to walk around. I doubt you'd have time to go to the Statue of Liberty though. Suggest getting back to the airport no later than 4pm. Hope you enjoy!

What does this mean, baggage claim D. If you're a transit passenger, how does this work. Are you given anything to
be recognized as a transit passenger? Is there any indication where transit passenger go to continue with their flight?

Anybody knows if there some kind of service to help to take the baggage ? I will move to Canada with 8 baggages and I'll need to chatch then and move then to another place. I will be alone with my little daughter...

thanks

Hello,

I will be facing a similar situation in a week. I was wondering if you made your flight. Thanks

Does anybody know if we could buy tickets to Empire State at the airport?
Sorry for my english...

Hello, can I know flight information on this site? If not, is there another site where I can see flight information?

LOST my silver, sony digital camera. Most likely in a dark blue case. Camera was left on or under seat on jet blue plane on August 26th at JFK. (flight 724 seat 10F)
Please call me at 718.619.6441 or 917.582.7931

Pics include me and my TWIN sister in the Bahamas. Another man with dark hair was with us. I beg you to please look, i have been to JFK lost and found office and had no luck :( I care most about the pictures on the camera so a memory card will be just fine to get back! Please Help! :(

I will be traveling domestically and wanted to know if my battery operated breast pump will be okay to go though security? I will need it during the flight.

Yes you can take it through security but you will need to take it out of its case, put it in the bin through the x-ray and the TSA screener will probably need to run a test on it.
