Taxi would probably be fastest but expect to pay around $80. Allow at least 1 hour to clear customs and then another 1.5 hours travel time on a Friday afternoon. You can also inquire at Ground Transportation about regular shuttle service between airports, which is much cheaper, but you might not make it to EWR in time. Good luck!
terminal 4 to terminal 5 - JFK
i am arriving (family of 4) by Emirates at 7.55am at Terminal 4 with a connecting flight to Boston by Jet Blue at 11.50am from Terminal 5. First is the time sufficient to clear immigration and then reach Terminal 5 to clear security and board.

Four hours should be plenty of time. Take any AirTrain (3rd floor of T4) on track 1 one stop from T4 to T5.

This is my first trip to US
This is my first trip to US and I need your help please. I land through Emirates airlines in JFK (terminal 4) at 14.15 and my connecting flight (DL) to ATL at 16.20 from T2/3 (as per JFK web site). Is the 2 hrs enough for emigration, baggage clearing and check-in baggage again in Delta (DL) flight. Kindly let me know on that. Thanks.

Two hours is minimum as long as your arrival is on-time. Take AirTrain on track 2 from 3rd floor of T4 one stop to T2/3.

We'll be dropped off at Terminal 1 but will be taking Lan Peru (which is in Terminal 4)... I'm assuming we can just take the Air Train to Terminal 4?
Is the Air Train free? Are they readily visible? Don't remember seeing signs for them...
