My Cathy Pacific flight lands at 7:00AM at JFK.
My American Airlines flight departs at 8:00AM.
Base on your experience, will I be able to get from Cathy Pacific Gate to American Airlines gate in one hour? I am not planning on checking in any bags.

Although most flights from
Although most flights from Canada to the U.S. undergo "pre-clearance" at the Canadian airport, my understanding is that the CX flight from YVR to JFK does not. That means that you will have to clear customs and immigration at JFK, and then make your way over to the AA terminal, check in, and get through security. While anything is possible, I think it is unlikely you will make the AA flight.

Arrival on the 24th at 10h30 from Paris CDG
2nd flight to take at 13h45 to Tampa from terminal 5
I am not taking the same airline and I should check some luggage in.
I have a french password and I need to go through all the police controls.
Will this be possible?

I live in Brooklyn one of the things I love to do before Sept 11 was to go to JFK airport just to hangout and make friends and watch the plames takeoff --I would stay for about 3-4 hours then go home to Brooklyn--can I still do this-- or will the cops stop me and ask if I have a ticket for a seat on one of the planes?
You will not be able to pass
You will not be able to pass security to the gate area without a boarding pass, you will only be able to hangout in the pre-security area of the terminals.
