Hi, we're flying from
Hi, we're flying from manchester uk on mon 21st June to JFK, then 2 hours later we're flying from JFK to Las Vegas. We dont know what terminal we are flying into or flying from. I can see someone else on here is doing the same trip as us and they are flying in and out of terminal 3. Will it also be terminal 3 we will be flying in and out of or does it change? Also, do we need to collect our bags in JFK & re-check them or will they be checked through to Las Vegas?
re: flying from manchester uk on mon 21st June to JFK
You did not mention the airline, I will assume is delta(both flights).
Most likely it will be the same terminal 3 in this case. You still have to collect your bags in order to pass US customs. Then recheck them in at Delta Connecting flight counter.

Transfer at JFK
Hi! I am arriving to JFK with a flight EI109 from Dublin at 7.40 pm. I have to transafer to take a flight to RDU with JetBlue Airways at 9:55 pm. I am not a US citizen and do not have a Green Card, thus I will have to pass through the immigration clearance, pick up my luggage and check it in again. Could you please advise if such connection would be challenging to make?
Thank you in advance!
re:Transfer at JFK
Not at all - you have time to do that.

We are flying into JFK from
We are flying into JFK from the Netherlands with pets (1 dog and 2 cats). We left the US with these pets 7 weeks ago with all their vaccinations up to date. I have found info online from the CDC but they also say to check state regulations. Where can I find the specific state regulations that apply for JFK? Is there any airport information on the process of entering the US with these pets?
Sorry...
I'm sorry that I went on about leaving JFK.
When we returned from our trip, no one asked anything. No one looked twice at anything we tried to show.
No problems.

Traveling with Pets
My husband and I went overseas with our cat a few years back.
First, check with your airline for ticketing and procedures. Each airline is different, and some make you pay a pretty good fee. If you don't do this in advance, it might be a surprise.
Most countries require chips. EU has a different chip, so we rented a reader for the various countries to show that they were, indeed, chipped.
Does the country that you are traveling to require any sort of special immunizations? Most of the EU is the same, the passport we got for her was adequate. I know Great Britain has different immunization requirements.
We found a little travel passport for her online that her vet had to complete. Then, we had to go to someplace out by JFK (not at JFK, it was some sort of animal clearinghouse) and they put their stamp on the passport.
They cannot be in their cages/housing units when going through x-ray. Make sure you give yourself plenty of time, as my kitty ran away in Heidelberg. It was humorous, of course, to us. All the officers were trying to catch the kitty, but I'm sure it was upsetting to other travelers. The cat was fine, of course.
Also, be sure to make sure that your hotel accepts pets.
A good website to start would be:
www.pettravelstore.com
Our kitty is very well-traveled! She has been all over Europe and the US. One of the funniest stories was waking up in the middle of the night in Venice and seeing her crawling up the fabric-covered walls! No damage was done. People enjoy seeing the animals when you are traveling and I believe it actually adds to a pet's overall well-being.
Good luck to you!

JFK to St. James Theater
Hello: Arriving at 5:30pm JFK Tuesday night- trying to make a show at the St. James Theater (246 W. 44th Street) by 8pm. Is this likely and what is the best transportation mode to get us there in time? Thanks,J
Take NYAS bus ($15) from
Take NYAS bus ($15) from your terminal to Port Authority Bus Terminal (42nd St. & 8th Ave.) which is only a few blocks from the theatre. Or you can gt there by subway; Airtrain from terminal to Jamaica station and transfer to E subway to 42nd St/Port Authority ($7.25). Both will take about an hour travel time, maybe a bit more on the subway.

Nursing baby
I will have a 4.5 hr layover at JFK before taking a Delta flight to Budapest with a 6-month old. Are there any family-friendly bathrooms where I can nurse my baby? Any other suggestions for where to nurse baby?
re:Nursing baby
There are family bathrooms in almost every building at JFK.
