Travelling from JFK to 85 West Street at Albany Street, New York
Wonder if anyone knows or can help me with the best way to get from JFK airport mid day (Monday around 14:00) to 85 West Street at Albany Street, New York. Don't really want to take subway as I have luggage, but don't want to spend too much money on a taxi. Anything in between? Share a van or a direct bus that stops close to this address or WTC? Any help would be appreciated.

Easiest and most direct is by taxi $45+tolls+tip. You can also get there via public transportation; take AirTrain on track 1 from terminal to Jamaica Station ($5), transfer to E subway ($2.25) to 50th St, walk two blocks south on 8th Ave to hotel.

Bus fare is per person, they may have a deal for children 3 years old and under, i.e. one free child per paying adult or something like that. You are generally allowed 2 large bags and 1 carry-on. Larger bags go in the cargo hold under the bus. You can pay when you get to Ground Transportation, buses run every 30 minutes.

Taxi will take you direct; $45+tolls+tip. You could take shuttle bus or subway to 42nd St/Grand Central Terminal but it's a long walk from there and there's no subway line further east than the #6 line at Park Ave.
