Impossible connection for
Impossible connection for your. If you had any chances to connect it would be if your second flight was little delayed.
Flight to London
I am due to fly out tomorrow morning at 8.55 am to London from JFK. As the airport is closed tonight and all flights due in from London were cancelled, am I to believe my flight will be cancelled or delayed tomorrow morning?
Flying Tonight? IcelandAir
Hello.
Can someone please help me? I'm supposed to fly tonight at 8pm from JFK to Reykjavik on IcelandAir. While it certainly looks like no one will be flying, there's no way to guarantee that until probably AFTER the time I would have to leave to get to the airport.
The problem is that IcelandAir has NO ONE you can call today to get any information or possibly change/cancel your flight (if you call their 1-800 number they tell you this by pre-recorded message).
I thought about calling them at the JFK Terminal, but since they only have one flight a day, they won't be in until probably 6 the earliest if at all.
I'm prepared to fly, but it will be a massive pain if I have to go to the airport only to be told that I cannot fly, change, or cancel my ticket.
Anyone who has anyway of me getting answers from my home I would greatly appreciated.
Thank you,
Matt
Icelandair NO HELP Desk
I too was flying tonight on Iceland Air 1614 8pm to Reykjavik and there's no one at the help desk, just a pre-recorded message and there's no information about rescheduling flights. I hope to leave tomorrow night but I'll have to wait until 9am when their customer service desk opens. I think this type of service sucks, it is not service at all and someone LIVE should be there to answer questions especially for travelers who had to connect to flights. I live in NYC however still, just as I was about to hail a cab to JFK I checked one last time online and saw that the flight was cancelled. Elise
I am on the same flight and
I am on the same flight and have been frustrated trying to get some answers
Has anybody heard anything
Has anybody heard anything yet? Icelandair website say dep 21.00 instead of 20.00 but the front page say cancelled!? very confusing - is it worth going to the airport?
Hi, same here, I'm on that
Hi, same here, I'm on that flight. According to the Twitter page, the flight has been canceled. Passengers will be rebooked on the next available flight...when US airports re-open. Haven't been able to speak to anyone though about how we'll know which flight we're on.
Phone number of British Airways - Luggage Service
Hi, I arrived last night in JFK from London Heathrow and my luggage did not arrive. British Airways told me that my suitcase arrived this morning and that has been assigned to the carrier Perfect. However, the carrier Perfect tells me that does not have my suitcase until now.
Can you please give a more specific phone number of Bristish Airways- Baggage services so that I can locate my suitcase?
I really need to get my suitcase today because I am travelling tomorrow. I am even willing to go to the airport to pick it up tonight, I just need to know where my suitcase is at the moment.
All you can do is call
All you can do is call British Airways. Their number is on this website. They might answer all of your questions regarding your luggage. They might also give you the number for the baggage services.
Hi: Tsfr times to LGA
Hi. If i land at JFK at 15:40 with BA, do i have enough time to get through customs and bags, get across to LGA in a taxi, and check in for a 18:00 flight? 18th May 2011

It is going to be a tight
It is going to be a tight connection. If you are second flight is little delayed the luck is on your side.
I believe you are going to
I believe you are going to be OK with your flight.
It may be a bit tight.
It may be a bit tight. Customs could take up to one hour and travel time to LGA is 20-30 minutes depending on traffic. Taxi ($25-$30) would be faster than shuttle bus ($13). If your arriving BA flight is late you may be out of luck.
