Flight tracker says that this flight has not departed yet, but status puts this flight in the air.

Hi, I will be arriving at terminal 8 at 19:00 and then have a connecting flight from the same terminal to Las Vegas at 07:05 the next day. My question is, will I be able to collect my luggage, leave the airport and check back in the next day or will I have to hang around until my connecting flight?
You can always pick up your
You can always pick up your bags leave the airport and come back next day 2 hours before your scheduled flight or you can stay at Terminal 4 overnight if you prefer. Use your discretion in this case.

I will be travelling from
I will be travelling from Providentiales (Turks and Caicos) to JFK Terminal 8, arriving at 4.30 pm and then have to catch my other plane to Swistzerland at Terminal 4 at 7.25pm.
1) Do I have to collect my luggage at Terminal 8 or is it possible to do the registration from Providentiales to Switzerland?
2) How long does it take to pass from Terminal 8 to Terminal 4?

Ask your airline at check-in if they can do this. If not you will have to re-check bags at T4. Take free AirTrain on track 2 from T8 to T4.
Arrival at Terminal 8, immigration and ground transport times
Hi,
I am arriving on AA211 on Saturday the 30th of April at 12:40 with my family and need to be at Manhatten cruise Terminal before 3.00pm, earlier would be better!
Could you advise how long immigration should take at this time of year/day and is there likely to be a queue for a taxi or should I book a car?
I'm hoping with an hour for immigration and an hour for the drive being worst case it should be okay?

I arrive from Europe to JFK on Sunday April the 3rd at 12:30 by AA at terminal 8. At 13:45 I leave for Los Angeles also by AA at the same terminal. Do I need to pass customs or I will pass them at my final destination? Bags will be send to final destination.
1:15 hours would be enought to make this change?

You will clear customs on
You will clear customs on arrival at JFK. Your bags should be tagged to LAX however you will need to collect them to clear customs, after customs take bags to the AA connecting flights counter, go upstairs to the departure level to clear security and to the gate. Hope your arriving flight is on time or you may have a problem making that connection to LAX.
Meeting place in terminal 8
I will be arriving from the UK on an AA flight into JFK terminal 8. My sister will be arriving on an AA domestic flight also into terminal 8, I believe. Does anyone know of a good meeting point or how long/far it would be for me to get from the international arrivals to the domestic arrivals at terminal 8?

Our AA Flt. #40 scheduled arrival at JFK at 07:30 pm. We'll have only 1 hr and 10 minutes to catch AA Flt. #152 to continue flight to Barcelona. Is the 1 hr 10 minute stop-over enough time to make the connection? Thanks in advance for your response.
