I have a flight tomorrow morning and I'll be gone for some hours. i was wondering if i have to register for long term parking? And how would I get to the long term parking at Lefferts blvd?

thanks a lot.

Does JFK have a waiting area where arriving passengers can use their cell phones to notify their pick-up people waiting in their cars to come by and pick them up?

Airports in FL have this.

Yes, there is a cellphone waiting lot. Look for the signs on the highway as you first enter the airport property.

Yes. Just follow the (few, hidden) signs for the Cell Phone Parking Lot.

http://www.panynj.gov/CommutingTravel/airports/html/ken_cell.html according to the website, yes, they have a cell phone lot

Is the long term lot secure? Is there a way to get from newark airport to JFK?

From newark airport you can take the NJ transit train into Penn station, then the A or E train ( subway ) to JFK. it's real easy.

Hey, do I have to reserve tickets for long term parking prior to my arrival ? or I can do that once I arrive ?

Thanks

No. You just pull in and take a ticket and pay upon return. You can pay at the terminal and / or on your way out. If you choose to pay at the terminal you have 30 minutes to get to your car and out the gate.

How do I make a reservation for Long term parking at JFK?

I am new in NYC and was looking for a month of parking in brooklyn/jfk area. Any help is much appriciated.

Thx.

I'm confused, if we park in the JFK long-term parking lots, do we also have to pay to get on the AirTrain to get to the terminal? If so, is that another $5 per person each way?

No, the Air Tram is free between long term parking and the terminals. There is only a charge at the subway connections.

Yes.
