I am arriving on a delta flight from Toronto into JFK terminal 2 at 3:35 pm. My connecting flight leaves terminal 3 at 4:45pm to Istanbul (1 hour 10 minute layover) Will I have enough time to make the connecting flight? Thanks.
T2 and T3 both serve Delta
T2 and T3 both serve Delta and are connected behind security so you just have to walk from arrival gate at T2 to departure gate at T3, no more than 5 minutes. As long as your arrival from Toronto is on time you should be ok.
I am travelling from Tel
I am travelling from Tel Aviv to Las Vegas via JFK on April 11. The estimated time of arrival at JFK is 6:10 PM Terminal 4. My connecting flight to Las Vegas departures at 7:59 Terminal 8. I need to pass the security and take my luggage. It is my first time at JFK and I not familiar with the Airport
my questions are:
1)will I have enough time to make this flight?
2) how to get from terminal 4 to terminal 8 ?
3) what about security checking, how long does it take ?

1)you should have enough time as long as your arrival is on time.
2)go to third floor of T4 and take AirTrain on track 1 to T8.
3)you will clear security at T8, time varies as to how busy the terminal is. Sometimes it will take less than 15 minutes, sometimes much more.

Arrival via Delta in Terminal 2
We are flying in on Delta to Terminal 2. We will have approximately 30 minutes to make our connecting flight which is also on Delta. If our connection departs from Terminal 3 would we be able to make that flight, provided our arriving flight is on time?
T2 and T3 are connected
T2 and T3 are connected behind security so you would only have a 5 minute walk from T2 gate to T3 gate, but only 30 minutes between flights is cutting it awfully close.

No, you will not be able to
No, you will not be able to pass security in T8 without a valid boarding pass or gate pass for that terminal. You can arrange to meet him at T8 baggage claim. Take AirTrain on track 1 from T5 to T8.
BUD-JFK-DCA
I am travelling on AA flight from BUD to DCA via JFK on June 1st. The estimated time of arrival at JFK is 3:35 PM. My connecting flight to DCA departures at 4:59. I know I have to clear the customs and go through immigration. Is the connection too tight? Can I make it if my first flight is on time? How much is the waiting time at the immigration desk during peak hours?
