Simple. Use free air train to transfer between T5 and T4. It should be tops 5 minutes. No reason to take a bus when you have an air train for free.

Hello,

I am a customs broker and meeting a passenger to process a customs entry at terminal one. I was told to ask for the ships office and I can meet the passenger there. Do you know where in the terminal it is and who I should ask how to get there. I figure I am going to have to go through security.

Thanks

Please provide me with an airlines name and flight number and I will be more than happy to assist you.

I´D LIKE TO KNOW HOW MUCH I´LL SPEND IN TAXI FROM JFK TO MONTCLAIR, NEW JERSEY;ALSO HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE?
THANK YOU
KATIA

Unfortunately Katia no NYC taxi will take you outside New York City. Only within the city.

Please can someone tell me as I will be travelling on my own, how close is it from T7 and T8. I am to meet my husband in New York. Would I be able to wait for him and meet him when I get out of customs. Please help.

Good afternoon Matilda! T7 and T8 are close to each other and you can use free air train on the 3rd floor of Terminal 7 and it will take you to Terminal 8 in less than 5 minutes. Your husband would have to wait in the arrivals hall of terminal 7 or 8 for you to come out depending which airlines he is taking.

Good afternoon Matilda. In order to travel between Terminal 7 and Terminal 8 you will need to use free air train on the third floor of Terminal 7. It should be tops 5 minutes to get to terminal 8. You will be able to meet him at terminal 8 or terminal 7 arrival hall depending which airlines you take and will arrive upon to JFK Airport.

Thank you both so much. Now I can meet my husband as if I am a local.

Yes ma am.

Hi,
I'm arriving into JFK at 15:45 T1 and departing to Tampa at 18:40 from T3.
Can anyone, please tell me if I can make the connection flight at time ? How long the clearing of security, customs ... will it take ? How long will it take to go from T1 to T3 ?
Thank you.

2 hours and 55 minutes is perfectly fine to make a connection. Customs and immigration along with security could take you up to one hour. Use free air train on the third floor of Terminal 1 to get to Terminal 3. It should be around 5 minutes if not less.

Thanks alot.

You are welcome.

Hi , I took a british airways flight from Delhi to Mexico City( with Aero Mexico) via Heathrow and JFK. The luggage was tagged till Mexico but I was asked to recheck it after customs at JFK. I collected my bag , went through customs and then rechecked it at the baggage recheck counter ( terminal 7) . The crew confirmed the tags and the timing of the flight for Mexico City ( From Terminal 1)

At terminal 1 i collected my boarding pass and informed the staff of Aeromexico of my baggae check in at terminal 7. The took down the tag numbers for records and assured me that it will be taken care of.

After reaching mexico i could not find my luggage. Filed a report with Aero Mexico. Have been following up over the last 2 days and a half. They seem to be clueless about the baggage. Is there any other avenue for addressing this. The terminal 7 lost and found refused to take this case saying that it is AeroMexico's business.
