Hi i have a friend coming from JFK to Stony Brook. I have a hard time getting directions for him to get here using the Air Train to Stony Brook Train station. could you help please.
Thanks
Sean.

He should take Airtrain to Jamaica LIRR. Some trains will require a transfer at Huntington to continue to Stony Brook. LIRR fares and schedules can be found online at http://lirr42.mta.info/sfweb/faces/index.jspx

I'm taking Amtrak into Penn Station first and will have two big luggage with me. Which will be more convenient for me to JFK with the luggage? LIRR or Subway? thanks.

Hi, how safe is it to travel on the metro (specifically E from PortAuthority - Jamaica or Jamaica - PortAuthority) in the evenings after 6 pm. Any specific precautions we need to take? Kindly advice.

You should be fine. Recommend you don't take public transportation if you have a lot of baggage, best to take a cab or NYAS bus to/from Port Authority.

Hi, my flight to LA on May 7 leaves at 7 AM. How do I get to JFK from East Rutherford, NJ? How much will it cost? Thanks in advance!

You don't want to cab it to Baltimore from JFK! It's over 200 miles, very expensive and I doubt you'll find any local cab to take you there anyway. I believe you have three options:
1. Bus: take Airtrain from your terminal to Jamaica Station and E subway to 42nd St/Port Authority Bus Terminal ($7.25), or NYAS bus ($15) from JFK to Port Authority and take the bus to Baltimore from there. There are a few different bus lines with varying fares. Depending on traffic it's about 4 hours.
2. Train: Take the NYAS bus, E subway or LIRR to Penn Station and take Amtrak to Baltimore ($40+ depending on when you go). Three hours by train.
3. Air: there are flights from JFK to BWI-Baltimore airport on American and Delta.

Hi. I need get to Syosset station from JFK airport. How to get there and how it will take. How much is it.

Hello,

I have to go on may 7th from 77th street to JFK.
Can I get there by subway/train and how ?

Thanks.

east or west side of Central Park? If east, take the 6 subway from 77th St. to 51st St. and transfer to the Queens bound E to Sutphin Blvd/JFK and then take the Airtrain to your terminal. If west, take the A or C from 81st St. or 72nd St. to 50th St. and transfer to the E.

I was wondering what would the fastest route be to get to JFK. I am leaving Columbus Cicle at 315pm to make a 635pm flight at JFK. Would it be best to take the E to Jamaica then the Airtran? The A to Howard Beach then Airtran? or go down to the LIRR to Jamaica and take the airtran?

Thanks

I'll come from Italy to terminal 3 and I'll leave from terminal 2 to San Francisco after 1 and 1/2 hour.
I'll have the right time to complete immigration and passport controls and arrive on time at the terminal 2? Can I go by walk?
