Hello, My family is
Hello,
My family is traveling from India to RDU through JFK by Air France. They will arrive in T1 at JFK. The final leg (JFK to RDU) is Air France connection as well(Delta from T3). If their baggages are tagged for final destination (RDU) at the start of their trip in india, is there a facility to re-checkin the baggages at Terminal 1 itself after clearing customs. This will avoid carrying all the way till T3.
Thanks in advance for the reply.

how to go from terminal 7 to terminal 8
Hi ,
My father and I will depart on the same day. His airline is Cathay Pacific in Terminal 7 and my airline is AA in Terminal 8. Due to he can't speak good English and he is old, i want to do the check-in , security check point and reach the correct gate with him, and then i will depart later on.
I will check-in for myself first in Terminal 8 and go to Terminal 7 to check-in for him. Then i can bring him to the security check point and to the gate.
However, i don't know whether the gates for terminal 7 and 8 are connected. Pls advise any suggestion if i can go through all steps with my father but i still can reach my gate on time.
Rechecking baggage at JFK
I am flying from DCA to Moscow via JFK with Aeroflot (both flights). Will my bags go to Moscow directly or I will have to claim baggage at JFK and then recheck it for the Moscow flight?
Please Advise
My fiancé will be arriving from Moscow on Aeroflot Sept 30 (Sunday) at 12:20 in the afternoon. She is coming on a K-1 (fiancé) visa. I understand that it is a bit longer for this type of "immigrant visa". How much time should I figure it will take her (safely) to get through passport control, customs and baggage claim to the arrivals hall? I will be picking her up there at Terminal 1. Also, can someone advise of a decent restaraunt between JFK and the Statue of Liberty (it is the first thing she wants to see in America)
Thanks in advance.
