I will be coming alone to NYC for the first time ( I am from Europe). Can anyone tell me what is the best and cheapest way to get from JFK to Manhattan? Thanks!

The cheapest way is definitely via subway. Take the Airtrain from the airport ($5) to the subway line A at Howard Beach. For $2 it takes you into Manhattan, anywhere from battery park to 207th street. You can also connect to other lines for free to reach your final destination. Visit www.mta.com for more information.

Will the A Train take you to the World Financial Center and/or the Fulton Street station? I'm trying to get to the Marriott Downtown at 85 West Street at Albany Street.

I have an airport change during a layover, my flight is supposed to arrive at 8:49 pm at La Guardia and my second flight is leaving from JFK at 11:45 pm does this leave me enough time to make the shuttle and get through security and still make my plane?

I arrive at JKF at 10.15pm and am wondering what the best way to get to Providence at that time of night is... if there is a way to do it at that time.
Otherwise what would be the best option?
Any advice is appreciated.. It'll be my first time in the States and Im traveling that leg alone.
