We will arrive JFK on 28th November at 11:00am.

Which is better & cheaper taxi or shuttle?

Using the subway is cheap and easy! But if time is a factor, it might be quicker to take a taxi (thought MUCH more expensive). I believe you can get on the "A" line and ride it into the city, but it does take a while so make sure you have plenty of time to get into the city and back to JFK before your connecting flight (assuming you're just there for a layover!).
