Terminal 8

Hi I am arriving on Qatar airways flight 83 into T8 at 3pm on the 31st, my son arrives at 3.20pm on the AA139, 20 minuets later, is it possible to meet him in the baggage area so that we can all go through together, we are a family of 5. is the baggage hall shared for the whole of T8.

We are planning a flight from LAX via JFK to HEL for my daughter. She will fly from Los Angeles at 8.11. AA34 16:30. The flight to Helsinki is 17:45 AY6. Only one hour and fifteen minutes to change. Is it enough?
She hasn't fly a lot and never alone, pour english though she is 20 years. Do you know if there is Finnairs personnel to get help.

I'm traveling with American Airlines from Brussels to JFK and JFK to LAX. I'm arriving and departing at terminal 8. Since both my flights are with American Airlines, is it necessary that I check my baggage, or can I go straight to my departing gate when I arrive at JFK?

Hello. I am flying from Paris to RDU on one ticket with a stop in JFK via American Airlines. I only have 1h20 to make the change. I'm knowI have to pick up my leggage before clearing customs. Is there a quick drop off on the other side of customs at terminal 8 for my connecting flight. Or do I have to exit and re-enter. Do I have to clear security again?

Does terminal 8 have a pre-security area to hangout with family before going through checkpoints like terminal 4? Thanks in advance!

My parents are arriving at Terminal 8 - Finnair from Helsinki. They speak no English and are quite anxious about finding customs.
1) Are customs located in Terminal 8 or do they need to take the airport train?
2) Is there more than one way to exit the customs area?
3) If they miss me by the custom area exit, what would be a good meeting point?

My friends are arriving from Helsinki on Finnair airline to JFK Terminal 8. At JFK Terminal 8, they have transfer to San Francisco by American airline. Do they have to go through the Custom at JFK and pick up Luggage before the transfer on to American airline to San Francisco.

My family will arrive at terminal 8 with Royal Jordanian flight on 29 Jun at 1615 hrs, next flight is from Terminal 5 with JetBlue at 2000hrs.
Please advice if this time between the flight is ok for immigration and custom and what is the best way to reach from Terminal 8 to terminal 5.

I have a flight between Istanbul to New York JFK (Turkish Airlines) in 4th August. I will arrive in JFK at 4:30pm. I have a seperate ticket from JFK to Tampa (American Airlines) at 7:30pm in the same day. These two flights are not connected (I bought them seperately). What is the procedure for my baggage at JFK? How can I transfer my baggage? Do I have to carry my baggage from Terminal 1 to Terminal 8? Do I enough time for check in for the Tampa flight? Thanks.
