I am arriving from SFO to JFK by AA at Terminal 8 and departing by AA to LHR from Terminal 8.
Do I have to check in baggage at JFK or is it direct transfer since both the airlines are AA ? Pl advise

I am traveling from Brussel to Los Angeles, transferring in JFK.
My questions:
When I arrive at JFK do I have to claim my baggage and then check it in again for LAX?I'm arriving and departing at terminal 8.
On my way back from LA to Brussel, I'm transferring in JFK again, arriving and departing at terminal 8, but I only have 1 hour and 10 minutes. Will I have enough time to go from one gate to another with security and custom?
I´ll fly with AA on june 17th from Guatemala to JFK, my cousin will arrive same day from Rome to JFK.
We want to meet at the airport to go to the hotel together.
Questions:
1. Could you tell me which terminal is for each flight (AA/DL)
2. We need to pick up laugagge, where is bagagge claim located for each airline.
3. Which one could be a good point to meet with my cousin between bouth terminals? Please give me a place for reference like a cofee shop, souvenier store, etc...

I'm going to be picking up my husband and kids who will be arriving on an international AA flight with our pet dog who is being shipped as accompanied baggage in the hold. They will be arriving at 9pm on a Saturday.
Will our dog be able to clear customs at the weekend? Where should be pick him up from? Can I go pick him up while my husband and children are clearing immigration and customs themselves or should they pick him up from inside the terminal?

Flying into jfk in July ..family of 5 ..from paris. Will we need to go through customs and security? Arrive at 1:30 pm American airlines...need to get connecting flight to Pittsburgh at 2:50 pm American eagle. Will we have time? Very nervous about this. What is walking distance from aa to ae ? To answer some of your questions, there should be several kiosks next to the lines to check luggage. She can use one and pull up the boarding pass by putting in the confirmation code (should be in the email issued when the tickets were purchased) or by scanning the barcode on the printed confirmation email, if she can bring it with her. At most airports, you can wait with her up until they check her ID and boarding pass and she goes through security. Here is a map of the airport:

It'll help you determine which terminal and she can use it to find her gate if she has trouble. Most airports have helpful signs (and people) though. Hope she has a good trip :)
