Thanks,

As u know, I am arriving in JFK at 21:10, Jul 17, 2010 and how to get to LGA airport by public trasportation within the night of Jul 17 (after 22:00) because I have to take the Delta 3115, 12:30, Jul 18, 2010. May be I will have to stay at the airport to wait for the next connecting flight to MYR.

Take a taxi - it will cost you ~$30.

I arrive at Terminal 8 from London but need to get to terminal 7 international arrivals to meet my family who are on a different flight from London. Can I get from terminal 7 to Terminal 8?

Take Airtrain on the second floor of T8, on track 2 and get off next stop.

I am arriving at Terminal 1 on Turkish Air from Istanbul at 1445 and have a domestic reservation on Delta (Terminal 2/3, I believe) at 1625. What are the chances of making this connection? Do I need to take the Airtrain or can I walk? nmr

From T1 you can walk to T2(only 5 min walk). For Delta flights it does not matter where you can check-in - T2 or T3.
As long as you make it at T2 before 1615, you should be fine.

Hi,

I'll be flying Dublin to London and then to JFK with AA, in JFK I will have to connect with my flight to Mexico City (I arrive and depart in T8).

Will my bags go the whole way to Mexico or do I have to collect them in JFK and check in again?
I have never gone on a long haul fight so just wondering what happens.

Also what exactly happens when you are just passing through a US airport to your final destination? (Just used to getting through quickly here in borderless E.U!!)

Many thanks

Well, it is not the same in USA. Here , you are transiting just the same as you are arriving in. Meaning - you go through immigration control, pick up your bags , go through customs and then re-check your bags if you have connecting flight.

Hello, I've heard recently about special service of helping passangers to find their connections. Can I order this service if my passanger is a 16 year old student with no English and no experience of travelling abroad, making connections or customs? She flies by Delta. Thank you!

Travelers Aid JFK airport is a non-profit organization which offers Meet and Assist service for passengers using JFK airport. Please note that Travelers Aid JFK airport DOES NOT have Immigration and Customs access therefore passengers can only be meet up after completion of the international arrival process. Please visit Travelers Aid JFK Airport website at http://www.travelersaid.org/ta/jfk and click on the Services tab to get in touch with the program manager. Travelers Aid JFK is also on Facebook. A small donation to this organization will be greatly appreciated.

Hi,
I am flying delta and will have a 6 1/2 hours layover in JFK. I have 2 kids and trying to see what can we do their to keep them busy. Please any suggestions?

BRING coloring books, and portable video games. A small pillow should help you relax. Patience.

I am arriving in terminal 3 and have a connection in terminal 4 in 50 mins, is this going to be difficult? Will I need to exit the secure area and go through security again in terminal 4?

Is the second flight DL flight? In this case you might make it since DL has a bus between T3 and T4(it will allow only DL passengers). Otherwise I will suggest you to consider the fligh shcedules - 50 min is too tight for transfer.

I'm going to study in Germany so I have a Visa C1 to travel through the U.S. I would like to know if I can stay one week in New York before boarding my plane to Germany.
