terminal transfer
with delta airlines, i have 1 hr 10 min to transfer from terminal 3 to 2 on the return leg to London from JFK. How do I transfer and will my luggage go direct to London, or do I need to re-check them. Will this all be manageable?

Most likely your bags will be transfered automatically (since the airline is one). Terminal 2 and 3 are connected - no need to clear security again , just follow the signs for your departure gate to London.

Baggage didn't came from JFK to GRU (Brazil)
On 2010/04/28 I left Miami to Sao Paulo (GRU-Brazil) with one stop at JFK. [Fligths DL 1826 and DL 121]
Delta informed me that one of my baggage (DL982433) came from Miami to JFK but not from JFK to Sao Paulo.
At Delta bagage claim protocol GRUDL37591 I was assured that my baggage would be at my home the next day, but it didn't happend.
Could you help me find my baggage and make it to be send at my home?

My flight from London is scheduled to arrive at Terminal 8, JFK at 10:50 pm, and my next flight leaves at 6:50 am the following morning. Where can I wait overnight for about 6 hours?

It is called Airtrain . You can take it on the third floor at Terminal 1 , on ANY track, and get off Terminal 5 - it is only couple of minutes ride.
