Hi again, I'm posting this again since I didn't see my previous posting.

I'm arriving at JFK from Moscow via Aeroflot and catching Delta Air to Toronto.

I have to claim my bags from Aeroflot. Do I have to go through customs at this point?

I have 2 hours and 40 minutes to transfer to Delta. Do you think this is enough time considering I have to

Thanks.

Yes, you have to claim your bags and go through customs at JFK. The time period that you have is enough.

Just posted this without registering, but didn't see it pop up. here it is again:

I'm flying JetBlue from Sacramento to JFK tonight and connecting with an American Airlines flight from JFK to Port-au-Prince, Haiti tomorrow morning.

I am scheduled to arrive at JFK at 7:52am and depart at 9:10am on my connecting flight. I believe I'll have to make a terminal transfer (5 to 8) and checkin with American at terminal 8 as well.

Two questions:
1. Do I need to leave security to checkin with American Airlines at Terminal 8?
2. How fast am I going to need to hustle to make this connection?

I'm only taking carryon luggage.

Thanks!

1. Yes, you have to transfer into different building which means you have to clear security again at Terminal 8.

2. With a little bit more than an hour it is VERY tight for you to catch you next flight, leave it alone that would be international flight. I hope everything goes well and you will be able to do that.

I will arrive on KLM flight to New York, JFK airport and I want to go directly to Canada, toronto on Delta airlines, I want to ask if I can change the flight directly in the transient area and can my baggage be transferred to that flight automatically ?

It is very good idea if you arrange you flight to Toronto well in advance; doing that at JFK will most likely leave you either stranded or pay for it very high price. Give at least 2 hours between the two flights to have time to transfer.

You can spend that time at Terminal 4 - there are seating places and open shops all the time.

hi
can i have entery application card

My Cathay Pacific flight from Hong Kong will be arriving at 8:55pm, Terminal 7. I will be taking a JetBlue flight out to San Juan at 11:59pm, Terminal 6. Is 3 hrs enough time to check out baggage and then check in again through customs for the connecting flight? Thanks.

Yes, 3 hours is enough to transfer to another flight at JFK.
Just look for Airtrain Station(which is across the street) once you clear customs at T7. At the station take ANY train on track 2 for one stop - that would be Terminal 5(Jet Blue).

We are thinking of taking an El Al flight to JFK, arriving at 3:20 p.m. and catching a connecting flight with American Airlines to Seattle at 5:15 p.m. We are American citizens. Will we have to pick up our baggage and go through customs at JFK? Will we have enough time to catch our connection?

Yes, you have to pick up your luggage and then go through customs at JFK. The time is kind if tight since the hours between 3pm and 5pm are the most busiest at Terminal 4. This might further delay the process of clearing immigration and customs. Any way of changing your connecting flight with a later one?

I'm an American citizen booking a flight from Salt Lake City to Athens, Greece. One flight has me arriving on a Delta flight at 3:15 PM at JFK and leaving on a 4:05 PM flight to Greece. Both the arriving and departing flight go through Terminal 3. Is that enough time to make that connection? Would our luggage make that connection? That's a pretty small window, but on the other hand, Delta is making the itinerary so they must feel pretty confident about it. Any educated opinions would be great. Thanks
