JFK to Wayne, NJ
Other than taxi, what's the best way to get to Wayne NJ from JFK? Thanks!
See below to get to Penn
See below to get to Penn Station. At Penn Station take NJ Transit-Montclair/Boonton Line train to Wayne (may require a transfer at Newark-Broad St).
To NYC west side
From JFK gates follow signs to"ground transportation". Near baggage area follow signs to "airtrain". They will take you up escalators and moving walkways. Get on air train to Jamaica (there are two voices that alternate:Jamaica or Howard Beach). At end of line (Jamaica) which is about 7 minute ride from Jetblue terminal 5/6, everyone departs. You pay $5 to exit. There are machines to buy a metro card. You want to get a combined card with a train ticket on the Long Island Railroad to Penn Station. there are every helpful Metro workers nearby the machines who will help you. Get you tickets (if you will be using subways in NYC, add $20 or so to your metro card), go through exit turnstiles and head straight ahead to LIRR. Trains to Penn Station leave about every 20 min. Cost about $7 from Jamaica to PennStation. Takes 25 min to arrive. pennStation is at 32nd st and 7th Ave. Madison Square Garden sits on top of it.
Have fun.

Terminal 4 to Terminal 3
Hi,
My friend is coming from overseas to JFK Terminal-4 at 02.15PM. He has a domestic flight from JFK to Pittsburgh on Terminal-3 at 04.45PM. Is the transit time of 02 hours and 30 minutes is enough for him to get into the Pittsburgh flight?
Thanks
Should be fine as long as
Should be fine as long as arrival is on time. At T4 go to third floor and take AirTrain on track 2 one stop to T3.
information
how do a get to W 87th street from JFK thanks
Where on W 87th St? Taxi
Where on W 87th St? Taxi will take you direct $45+tolls+tip. Or take AirTrain from terminal to Jamaica Station, transfer to E subway to 50th St. At 50th St; for location near Central Park West take the uptown C subway to 86th St, for location near Broadway take the uptown C subway one stop to 59th St and transfer to the uptown #1 subway to 86th St. AirTrain/subway costs $7.25.
Correction
Good, except that you should take the E subway to 42nd St. before transferring because you cannot transfer to the uptown trains at 50th St. without exiting the station, crossing 8th Ave. and paying another fare to get back into the subway.
