Best route from JFK to citifield by subway
Could you fill me in!

Take AirTrain to Jamaica Station, transfer to the inbound E subway to Jackson Hts/Roosevelt Ave, transfer there to the Flushing-bound #7 subway to Mets/Willets Pt.

i arrive at terminal4(etihad airways) at 4.30 pm and have a conennection to orlando at terminal 8 at 7.40pm. No checkin luggage. is there enough time for immigration and should i go through customs even if have a small carryon.
How to get to terminal 8?

You will have to clear customs regardless, allow around 1 hour. After you clear customs go to third floor of T4 and take AirTrain on track 1 to T8.

Hi there,
Are terminal 3 and 4 connected post security? We'd like to use The Lounge in Terminal 4 before boarding our Delta flight to Manchester, UK in Terminal 3 and wondering if this is possible?
Thanks

Not connected, there is a Delta shuttle bus between T3 and T4 post-security however I believe this is only for Delta passengers arriving at T2/T3 to connect to a departing Delta flight in T4 and with valid boarding pass.

are there carts available for luggage to be used on airtrain?

Rented luggage carts are allowed on AirTrain.

Hello,
You probably get asked questions like this all the time and the answer is never quite specific - but can you give me an estimation of how long it would take between landing to clearing customs.

Basically I have a 9hr layover in JFK and I'd love to scoot to Manhattan for a few hours!

so either by train or taxi is possible..

thanks for your help

Dee

You should be able to explore for at least a few hours, just be sure to arrive back at JFK two hours before flight for check-in/security. Allow around one hour for customs and one hour for travel both to/from Manhattan. Taxi is always fastest to Manhattan, 45 minutes-1 hr. You can also take AirTrain from terminal to Jamaica Station and take LIRR to Penn Station (midtown) or E subway to Broadway/Times Square area or to the end at the WTC site.

our flight arrives at 720 am and our connection flight is at 825.. is that enough time to get from gate 1 in terminal 3 to gate 25 ( in terminal 2?) .We are flying with delta and are very nervous about this ;\

Terminal 2 and 3 gates are connected post-security so you just need to walk from gate 1 to gate 25, unless you are arriving to JFK from overseas, in which case you will need to clear customs first before proceeding back upstairs to the departure level and clear security. If arriving domestic you should be ok.

There is a 5 hour stop over on my flight from Buffalo to Dublin via JFK. Is that enough time to go into NYC and check out a couple of sites??

No, 5 hours is not really enought time, since you need to check-in for international flights 2 hours prior to departure and travel to/from NYC is one hour each way. Doesn't leave much time.

I'm flying from Buffalo to Dublin, Ireland via JFK. Will my bags automatically be forwarded or will I need to claim them when we arrive in JFK then go through security again to get them on the plane to Dublin??
