Hi, I have a red-eye Delta flight and arrive at JFK on Monday at 8am and have a 9-hr layover until 4:30pm Turkish airlines.

1) Can I check in our luggage ahead of time with Turkish airlines or must I wait until just before my flight?
2) Is there anywhere to sleep in the airport?

Thanks!

1.) It depends on Turkish Airlines - for fact they don't staff their check-in counters 24 hours, just 3-4 hours prior to departure time.
2.) Besides the hotels(which are very expensive), nothing else is available at the airport.

Hi, I am arriving via Delta Flight # 0136 on 5th June on terminal 3 at 5:30 PM. I have my next Delta Flight # 8581 from Termnial 1 at 7:05 PM. I have a transit time of 1hr 30 mins. Would this time be enough to change terminals and for security check? This is the only connection being offered. Please advice as your thoughts would be very helpful and much appreciated. Thank you.

You have time to transfer - hope your flight from Denver is not late.Transit time(via Airtrain) between those two terminals takes only minutes.

My daughter is arriving at terminal 5 on June 11th, it is the first time she is flying without assistance.
I am guessing that she will have to pick up her luggage before passing customs. Are there staff that she can ask for help if needed on where to pick her bag up?

I will be driving from CT to pick her up. What section of the parkinglot would be the best for me to park at so I am within walking distance, so we don't have to deal with the airtrain?

Thanks you
/malin

Malin, if she is coming at T5 she does not need to go through customs( T5 has only domestic flights). Check your info again!

Hi, I will be landing at JFK on June 9th around noon on Jet Blue. I have to get to the Aeroflot terminal for a departing flight at 7pm. Could you give me instructions on how to get to that terminal and an estimate on how long it will take me. ( I will have to claim luggage from the Jet blue flight) Thanks for your help.

Aeroflot is at Terminal 1, Jet Blue - at T5 . Take Airtrain on the third floor of T5, on track 2 and get of at T1. It takes 10-15 min(including walking).

Hi, I have to stay overnight at JFK in terminal 3 on May 19th. Is there any nap rooms that I can stay? Also I was wondering if there's any shower facilities at JFK.. Thank you in advance :)

There are no nap rooms at JFK but you can spend the night at Terminal 4 which is 24 hours open. On the forth floor there are lounges where you can relax and take a shower(it costs ~$35-$40) .

hey I am landing on JFK internationa airport 16th May 2010 at 20:30. Then I will go to the 178 Summer Street in Kingston Massachusetts. how can i go to there? is this time get dark ? Can i sleep at the airport thank you

Yes, you can spend a night at the airport, T4 is open 24/7. Getting to Kingston, MA - you probably have to take either Amtrak to Boston or bus to Boston and then some local transportation to Kingston(I am not familiar with that).
If I am not mistaken there is a Peter Pan bus (leaves out of PA bus terminal in Manhattan) that stops at Kingsbury Plaza in Kingston. Check out www.peterpanbus.com for more details.

Aer Lingus 104 leaves at 5:45pm - that is very tight, hope AA is not late and you have your boarding pass already.

I am leaving for Indiana Thurs night via Delta and arriving on Sunday night via United. Can I park in short-term parking by Terminal 7 and take the AirTran around? Is it safe to leave my car at the Terminal 7 parking for 48 hours instead of Long-Term parking?
