After you take the Airtrain at Jamaica Station, get off next stop(Federal Circle) - National Rental Car is located on the first floor.

my flight from jfk to washington dulles by dl6691 on 17 may is shown as departing from gate 25p. iam unable to locate gate 25p in terminal 3 but there is a gate 25 in ter 2.this delta flight is operated by Comair. please advise

The nearest Greyhound station is Port Authority Bus terminal , located near Times Square in Manhattan.
The cheapest way to get there is by Airtrain/Subway.
Take Airtrain from any terminal on track 1 to Jamaica Station( be careful - on that track there are two alternating trains going to different routes; check the sign above the doors as the train arrives; the red colored sign is Jamaica one). Then take subway line E to 42nd street stop. Cost-$7.25/passenger

You have to take airtrain to Jamaica station, and from there you take E train to 42nd Street. It will take you straight to the Port Authority terminal where you can take you Greyhound bus. The whole trip will cost you $7.25.

Taxi is one of the options - it will be on the meter(exp.~$60-$70).
Public Transportation is another one:
Take Airtrain from any terminal on track 1 to Jamaica Station( be careful - on that track there are two alternating trains going two different routes; check the sign above the doors as the train arrives; the red colored sign is Jamaica one). Then either:
-take subway line E to Penn Station(total fare - $7.25;~1 hour) or
-take LIRR train to Penn Station(faster;total fare ~ $12, less on the weekends; 35-45 min.)
From Penn Station take PATH train to Pavonia-Newport stop.The hotel is one block south on Washington Blvd(right before the intersection with 6th street).

wondered if any one could help me. My family and I are traveling from the UK with Delta airlines in August. We are then flying to L.A.X. We have a two and a half hour slot between landing and taking off again. Will this be enough time for 7 of us to leave the plane, clear customs, collect our luggage and then check in to the next flight? (which is also with Delta)

I will be arriving in JFK at 4:30pm but my next (domestic) flight leaves EWR at 7pm.
What transport options are available, and which one will be the best (ie; so I won't miss my flight!)

With that time window taxi is the only one option that will guarantee you won't miss your flight at EWR. It will charge you on the meter(~$90-$100)

If there is a "Ground stop Program" in place, what are the chances my flight will get canceled tonight to fly in to JFK? Flight 180.

HI, we are arriving at JFK on 30 April on Egypt Air Flight MS985 at 15h30. We then have a Jet Blue flight 919 from JFK to O’Hare at 8h40 pm. What terminal do we have to go to catch the Jet Blue flight and how long will it take to clear Customs?

It will take you somewhere between 30-60 min at that time to clear customs at T4. From then take Airtrain, which is located on the third floor , on track 1 and get off next stop - Terminal 5(Jet Blue)
