JFK Airport Parking Information
You can use two different types of parking at JFK airport:
Long-Term JFK Airport Parking
Located at Lefferts Blvd, 4 miles from CTA
AirTrain services link parking with the terminals.
Parking rates
$18 for up to 24 hours
$6 for each 8-hour period over first 24 hours
Daily JFK Airport Parking
Green parking - Terminals 1,2,3
Blue parking - Terminal 4
Yellow parking - Terminals 5 & 6
Orange parking - Terminal 7
Red - Terminals 8 & 9
Parking rates
$3 for the first half hour
$6 for up to 1 hour
$3 for each additional half hour, up to $33 maximum each 24-hour period

hi im leaving to miami fl on 6/2/2010 11am returning 6/7/2010 2:30pm on american airlines. What is the fee for the parking lot?where do i need to park ? Is for 5 days exactly.

Short Term Parking lot(Red Parking lot) is right across T8(AA). Cost - $33/day.
Long term parking lot costs $18/day and it is accessible via Airtrain(which is free in this case). It takes 10-20 min to get to T8.

Every terminal has its short term parking lot with designated handicap places. The rate is $18/day.

Is it possible to park at JFK and trave into city and return and leave in evening? I will be driving an rv.

Yes, use the long term parking. Note, if you decide to use the subway to the city(through Jamaica Station or Howard Beach Station), you have to pay $5 fee to exit Airtrain system(even you may not use the Airtrain at all).

JFK Terminal 4 short term parking
I have to drop guests at Terminal 4 and want to park my car near by at walking distance for 2-3 hours. What is the best option? do i have to reserve parking? Can I drop guests and then easily park to return to departure lounge?

You can either park and then walk with the guests or drop them off, park and then walk to the terminal.
The name of the closest short term parking lot is Blue Parking lot. It costs $6/30 min. and it is within 3-5 min walking distance. There is no need to reserve in advance.

Park in the long term lot ($18/day) and take Airtrain to your terminal.

Hi, I am flying out Wed. morning 5/26 (8 a.m. Delta flight to Vegas and will be returning Sat. at 11:57 p.m. - so technically Sunday I guess - also Delta). Where do you recommend I park and how much will it cost? Thank you!!
