There are two PATH stations and none of them is close by JFK.
One is by Penn Station in Manhattan , the other one is by former Twin Towers site(downtown). From JFK you can reach both by Airtrain to Jamaica and then subway E.

clearing customs tonight
Hubby is coming in after volunteering down in Haiti. I don't want to wait longer than I have to so two questions: 1. approx how long will it take for the flight to deplane and clear customs? 2. Is there parking nearby where I can wait? Thanks!

1. It takes aprox 30-40 min. to clear customs
2. I guess he is coming on American Airlines - then you can use Red Parking lot which is across T8.

Thank you for your answer about my student! She is flying to JFK by Delta and then again by Delta to Minneapolis. Is she required to take passport control, the custums and get her luggage at JFK, or can she do everything in Minneapolis? She is an RF citizen. Waiting for your answer! Svetlana.

She will go through immigration(passport control), get her luggage and go through customs at JFK. Immediately after she passes customs she has to look for Delta connecting flights counter where she can transfer her luggage onto her next flight to MSP. After that she will go through security check, go upstairs and look for the gate to Minneapolis.

From Terminal 5 to Terminal 8
Next Monday (June 14th) I arrive at JFK via Jet Blue (terminal 5 as I know) at 7:18 am and I have to take my next flight via Mexicana and the departure time is 8:30 am. How can I move from Terminal 5 to Terminal 8? Do you think I can get there on time?

Take Airtrain on the third floor of Terminal 5, on track 1 . The second stop is Terminal 8. Hope Jet Blue is not late, your time is VERY tight.

Hi
I am flying with American Airlines from Lima to Heathrow but we have a change over in New York on the way. There is 13 hours between our connecting flights is it possible for us to go out of the airport in the time and go into New York? If so do we need any type of visa etc.. for that short time there? I am a British Citizen.

Since you are British citizen you don't need a visa to spend that time in US - your passport would be enough.

China Airlines passesngers would clear the immigration process in Anchorage, AK. CI passengers will bypass the immigration booth when you land at JFK. However, you will still need to clear custom at JFK. Normally CI passengers start to come out of the arrival hall in 30 minutes.

You will be landing at Terminal 1. That terminal does not have domestic section, only international. You will clear immigration/customs at T1. Expect 30-40 min in there.
