Hi
I am arriving on 4th July by Air India 101 from New Delhi for a three-week stay in the US. Since I have approx 7 hours in JFK before connecting forward to Boston, I wanted to know:
- Is it possible to buy a pre-paid sim for my GSM mobile in JFK Terminal 4?
- If so, what papers would I need to show to buy the sim?

Many thanks in advance.

Hi! I will fly from Dublin to NY on July 14 with Aer Lingus and I will land at 7:40 pm. I need to catch my second flight for Vegas with JetBlue at 9:25 pm.

1) Do you think I have enough time?
2) In what terminal does Jetblue operates?
3) How long does it take me to from T4 to that terminal?
4) What are the exact procedures to follow when I land to JFK?

Thank you very much!

Jet Blue is T5, one stop on the Airtrain from T4 which will only take minutes. It will be very close depending on how much time it takes you to clear customs/immigration and if your flight arrives on time. Once you're done there go upstairs to Airtrain and take the outside track one stop to T5.

Here i s the Terminal 4 (ONLY) live feed of the arrivals/departures flights.

sirs, wanted to understand the process for my parents who arrive JFK T4 on AI 101 at 0600 and depart from T7 on UA 7111 at 1005 for IAD.

1. can they check-in their baggage at a UA counter at T4 after immigration and customs?
2. is there a lounge at T7 they can use or should they stick to T4 for a lounge?
3. if they can't checkin their baggage at T4, is there any porter service till T7?
4. i understand the mode of transit to the other terminals is air train, is there a specific one since I understand that there are 3 lines?

thank you for your help!

1. They can do that but at Air India connecting flights counter at T4.
2. There is a lounge at T7, I am not sure if they can get an access there. The lounges at T4 are accessible upon a payment(~$30-$40 / person)
3. Yes.
4. At T4 ANY train will take them to T7 - if they take the train on track 1 T7 will be the second stop; if they take the train on track 2 T7 will be the fourth stop.

I'm arriving with Lacsa Air from San Jose, Costa Rica (arrival around 1:00 AM) and continue with British Airways to London (on the same ticket) around 8:30AM. Do I have to go through customs and immigration upon my arrival to JFK? If it so, could you be so kind to provide more detailed information about the whole process in JFK?

Yes, you have to go through customs and immigration as you are entering US. Hope you have proper documentation(visa and/or passport) depending on your nationality.
Here is the whole process:
- disembark the plane;
- go through US immigration
- find out which belt the bags are coming on. Get the luggage.
- go through US customs.
- after that look for Connecting flights counters(it is on the left immediately after you exit customs). There you will transfer the bags at Lacsa counter onto your next BA flight.
- go to the third floor(follow the signs for the Airtrain) where the Airtrain platform is located.
- take train on track 1 to Terminal 7; it is 2 min free ride;

I'm arriving with Delta from Montreal (T3?) and catching a flight with KLM in Amsterdam. I'm guessing I need to get my luggage first, go through customs then check in again. The Delta flight arrives at 15:30 and the KLM flight is at 18:30. Is that enough time ?

When you are coming from Montreal you don't clear customs and immigration at JFK - everything is done in Montreal.
You will land most likely at Terminal3. KLM to Amsterdam departs out of T4.
After you disembark the plane, look for gate 11 at Terminal 3 - that is where Delta has shuttle that will take you to Terminal 4. No need to check-in, no need to go through security again either.
You have plenty of time to transfer.
