Hello, I will arrive in JFK aiport, terminal 1 on 3d July and I need to get to JFK Plaza Hotel. Is there any shuttle from airport to this hotel? What is its' timetable? thank you in advance, Svetlana

All you have to do is to take Airtrain on track 1 to Federal Circle(free). There the hotel will have a free shuttle for you.

Hi,

Was wondering what price I would be looking at to get from JFK airport to Crowne Plaza Manhattan Hotel 1605 Broadway New York, NY 10019, United States.

Price and also how would I get that, cheap way by subway/bus/metro? Thanks in advance.

Cheapest is by subway; take Airtrain from your terminal to Jamaica Station and transfer to the E subway to 7th Ave (53rd St.). Walk down 7th Ave to 49th St., turn right, next block is Broadway and turn left to your hotel between 48th & 49th. Cost of Airtrain/subway is $7.25.

Hi

Thank you for the information. I am traveling with my mother and contacted tons of places for deals and will see what I get as I work in the travel industry.

If I was by myself I would do the Jamaica station.
Is it hard to find the E subway to 7th ave at the station?

Also can I pay cash for the airtrain/subway. Is it like 5$ for the air train and 2.25$ for the subway or something? Please give me as much info as you can.

You can pay cash for the trip at Jamaica Station. There are vending machines where you can buy a Metrocard(put $14.50 on it for two people).
There is also a shuttle(door-to-door service) that will take you to your hotel from JFK. The price is $18.50/person , the name is AirLink. Book it at Ground Transportation(Welcome Center) counter.

Hi, thank you for the info. As it turns out after adding 14.50$ there and back and perhaps hailing a cab to go a few blocks..we are looking about 50USD...I will book a shuttle service. Thanks for the great information.

Hey - can anyone please tell me the best and cheapest way to get from JFK to East 31st and Park?

Here are the cheapest alternatives:
>Airtrain from your terminal to Jamaica Station, take E subway to 53rd/Lexington, transfer to the downtown #6 subway to 33rd St., walk south on Park Ave. to 31st. or stay on the E subway to Penn Station and walk crosstown on 33rd or 32nd from 7th Ave. to Park Ave. Cost is $7.25 for Airtrain/subway.
>Airtrain to Jamaica as above, take LIRR to Penn Station (faster than subway, trains have overhead racks) and walk crosstown as above. Cost is about $13.

Is there a complimentary connection available between the JFK and the La Guardia Airports?

Nothing complimentary. Taxi will cost $30 or the NYAS shuttle between airports is $13.

I am arriving at 5.30pm on 14 August and will first get to terminal 8 to leave my luggage before going to Wilmington, Delaware. After a 27 hour flight the quickest route possible from JFK to Wilmington, it would be greatly appreciated. Any suggestions?
Also can anyone tell me how to get from JFK Airport across to Newark Airport. Thanks

There's a shuttle to Newark Airport, check at the Ground Transportation counter when you arrive. Amtrak's Northeast Corridor train from Penn Station stops at Wilmington. To get to Penn Station, you can take a taxi ($45+tolls+tip), NYAS express bus from your terminal ($15) or Airtrain from your terminal to Jamaica Station to the E subway ($7.25) or LIRR ($13) to Penn Station. Taxi or bus might be fastest to Penn Station, LIRR next fastest (I've made it from terminal to Penn Station in 40 minutes).

Hello

I need to catch a Greyhound bus to State College from New York. I understand ( please correct me if I am wrong) that the nearest bus terminal is at Port Authority. So what would be the most convenient way to catch a Greyhound from JFK as I would be having atleast 1 heavy luggage.
Thanks

Cheers!
Nayan

If you don't want to drag your luggage on public transportation take a taxi (flat rate to Manhattan $45+tolls+tip) or the NYAS express bus to Port Authority which departs from each terminal every 20-30 minutes ($15).
