1. She have to pass immigration and customs upon entering the US, not the terminal.
Here is what she has to do :
-pass immigration
-pick up her bags(if any)
-pass customs control
-transfer her bags(if any)
-clear security
-look for the gate for her next flight

2.Immigration/customs are on the first floor, gates are on the third floor.It depends where the gate is it could be up to 10-15 min walk.

3. I am not sure if you can do it in Helsinki - let her ask the airline employees once she lands at JFK.

Is there any bar in terminal 8 before or after security i can watch the match Paraguay-Spain on Saturday 3th July?

Hi, I will be arriving from Seattle in an American airlines (AA 268) to JFK on 9-Aug at 16:30 and I have to take a flight in Jet Airways (9W 225) to Chennai, India (MAA)at 18:10 the same day. I have only 100 minutes. Are both the flights in the same terminal 8 and Do I have enough time and what should I do after reaching JFK? Please help me out as this is my first travel to US.

You have time to transfer - both airlines share the same terminal(T8). After you get off the plane look for the gate for your next flight to Chennai.

My sister and I will be arriving American Airlines domestic, while my brother will be arriving Jet Blue domestic. What is the easiest way for my brother to transfer from T5 to T8 so that we can meet at one place?

He should take any Airtrain on track 1 from T5 to T8, only takes about 5 minutes.

Hi, I know there is an American flight that leaves around 8 tonight to Paris. My wife is traveling from Baltimore (BWI) to JFK and then to JFK to Paris (CDG) but her plane is experiencing some delays in BWI and she is not sure that she will have the connection to the earlier American flight that leaves around 5...Can you tell me what time does the latest leave?

Sir I would reach JFK at 19:55 and my next flight to columbus is 20:55. there only 1hr 15mins wait time.. Dis is the 1st time I'm flying so there would b immigration check and all.. Will that time gap be sufficient?? Terminal is given as 8 for both, I will be coming by AA and next flight is also AA so should I again check out and check in my baggage???
Is it the same terminal for both international and national??

I will arrive in Terminal 8 at 11pm and fly out from the same Terminal at 7 the next morning. Are there any sleeping facilities in this Terminal? Is it ok to sleep here or would I be asked to move on? I have read that you can sleep in Terminal 4 but just wondering about Terminal 8.

Terminal 8 closes during the night - use Terminal 4 instead.

They will ask you to move out after midnight - go to T4, the terminal is open non-stop.

Hello,

I am flying from SFO to NY in AA0024, this flight arrives JFK at 16.00 hrs and I have to transfer from T8 to T7 in order to take the IB5678 flight at 18.00 to MAD (the IB flight is under AA also). Which procedures must I follow to get T7 (immigration? customs? etc) -not US citizen-. Do I have time (2hrs) to do it?
