Take Airtrain (which is free from that point) to the terminals.

I should be leaving the states from jfk airport next saturday and my question is: is CBP office responsible to record departures and turn in my I-94 ?in which terminal is their office located at ? and what is their working hours during week ends? ( cauze I had to delay my flight once for one day to record departure cauze their office was closed when I got to the airport),
Thanks

The usual practice is that you will return your I-94 form to the airline agent. In some instances they will send the passenger to the INS office(which is located on the first floor of T4)to check out with the immigration authorities. That office is open 24/7.

hi, what is the best method for go to brooklyn from the aeroport?
thanks bye stefano

I had to check in a bag at the departure gate for DL 173 on August 16, 2010. I had taken this bag on flights many times and no one ever said anything. According to the ground crew's instructions, I checked it in at the gate and removed everything valuable I could find -- except a gold necklace -- that I had forgotted was in the bag. And you guessed it, when I arrived at my destination in Taipei it was gone. Someone along the way had ripped open the box and stolen it. In addition, the memory card for my son's new PSP was stolen right out of my luggage that was checked in at curbside.
I HAVE NEVER HAD THESE PROBLEMS BEFORE. WHAT IS GOING ON? IS THE PROBLEM AT JFK OR ALONG THE ROUTE?

Hello,

I need to get to Delta Cargo Building 21, I was given difficult directions and need help with a more simple way of how to arrive. I am traveling by Air Train. I was told to get off at Federal Circle and then take a Port Authority Bus to Building 14, Cross a Bridge, take a Long road, & turn right. Could anyone please break down the directions in a less complex way. Thank you.

At Federal Circle walk to the bus stop for the PA cargo buses. There are two buses waiting there all the time - make sure you ask the drivers which one will take you to bldg.14 (or bldg.21). The bus departs every 20 mins(starting on the hour).
You have two choices - either get off at bldg 14(on South service road) and cross over the bridge or get off on the other site of the bridge(in front of bldg 9,on North Service road). You can ask the driver - they are familiar with the locations of those buildings.
After you are in front of building 9 look for the road sign that points towards bldg 21. Take that road(it is ~10 min walk) and the last building on the right is bldg 21.
See this map for reference:

(the black line is the bus route that you will take)

Thanks very much

Hello I couldn't find a definite answer online:
I want to purchase a computer in NYC and take it with me on a trip to Germany where I will make it a present to my parents. I know I will have to declare the computer at German customs where I will have to pay German sales tax on my purchase.
Can I get a refund of the NY sales tax at JFK airport before exporting the computer to Germany? Where would I have to go? (I will fly with Lufthansa)
Thanks for your response!

The tax refund practice stopped many years ago.

Hi! I have a question. I am flying from Istanbul to New York and then to Chicago. But they are not connected. They are separate flights so I will have to get my baggage while changing flights. Will I also have to go through passport control in New York? I am worried I might not make it on time then. There are three hours between flights.
P.S.I am not an American citizen.

You have to go through immigration and US customs here, at JFK. It takes around 30-50 mins. Three hours is plenty of time(as long as IST flight is not late).

i am indian passport holder need to go haiti on arrive visa pl reply me need transit visa for uk or usa or not i will go to haiti through delta air but the route is from india may go first to london heathrow then jfk then to finel destination is haiti pl reply me fast can i go without transit visas to haiti or must this for going to haiti pl reply me awaiting you

You must obtain a USA visa in order to transit through US.
Having that visa, you will qualify for TWOV (Transit Without Visa) in regards transiting in London. Here is why(according to IATA statement):
"Nationals of India may only use this administrative concession (TWOV) above if holding:
- a visa which allows entry into (or transit through)
either Australia, Canada, New Zealand or the USA; and
- holding a valid ticket for travel from a third country or
territory via the UK as part of a journey TO (or through)
Australia, Canada, New Zealand or the USA, whichever the
visa is applicable to (e.g.: DEL-LHR-JFK, DEL-CDG-LHR-JFK,DEL-LHR-CDG-JFK or DEL-LHR-JFK-MEX). "

So having only a valid US visa will work for you.
