Hi there.. I´m a Portuguese graduated in Tourism and i would like to know how can i apply to work in JFK; Many thanks!

I am flying into Terminal 8 by American from SFO and leaving shortly thereafter to Helsinki by Finnair from the same terminal. Will I have to leave the boarding area and go through the security check again or can I go straight to the gate? (The connection time is tight, trying to plan ahead.) Thanks a lot!

No, you don't have to - both airlines share the same building. Just look on the monitors which gate Finnair departs from and head for the gate.

As long as you arrive domestic and depart international from the same terminal, have your Finnair flight boarding pass and you do not leave the gate area (outside security), you are good to go.

what is the best way to get from Terminal 4 off an SAA flight to the Jetblue Terminal 5? How long does it take?

Thanks for the reply.
I am arriving from South Africa on SAA at T4 at 08:40 on 11 September;and then on to Boston on JetBlue at 12:00.Do I need to collect my luggage or can it be transferred automatically from plane to plane?

You will need to collect your luggage and clear customs/immigration on arrival at JFK. After you depart customs take your luggage to the SAA connecting flights counter if they give you luggage tags for the Jet Blue flight to Boston or take luggage with you to T5 and check-in at Jet Blue.

Take Airtrain on the third floor of T4, any train on track 1 one stop from T4 to T5, takes less than one minute.

It's an emergency things i cant contact Mr.Pattama Khumvong he will depart at terminal 1 in Korean Airline (KE 0082)14.00 pm. please let him call me(Jang From Thailand) back immedieatly ...Thank You

Hi,
Can you confirm if there are any restrictions for someone just transiting between Terminal 4 and Terminal 1 at JFK. The passenger is arriving from Santo Domingo with JetBlue for a connection onto Moscow with Aeroflot and the appropriate Russian visa in place.

They have 4 hrs 10 mins connection outbound and 7 hours on their return. This should be plenty of time for transit purpose only?

No restrictions in that case(as long as the person has US visa to transit) - let the person take Airtrain on the third floor of T4, on track 2 and get off second stop - T1.

Hi, we're leaving from JFK Terminal 3 on Thursday early evening for a Delta Flight to Rome. It's scheduled to depart 5:35 PM; we plan on getting there by 2:15. A few questions for now: Can we bring our own food on the plan to eat instead of purchasing one of their dinners? Is curbside check-in an option for an international flight?

Also, sorry for this simple question but we haven't flown in many, many years - since the days of tickets. We have our e-ticket receipts from the travel agency. Do we print our own boarding passes first when we we get to the terminal at one of the kiosks, or do we wait on the line to do that? Aside from printing the boarding pass, and checking in the luggage, is there another step that needs to be done? Thanks alot.

You can bring your own food(only solid) on the plane. The problem is only the liquids that are prohibited by TSA.
You can do curb-side check-in for any Delta flight at terminals 2 and 3.
You have an option to either print your boarding passes from the kiosks(all you need is the record locator or Delta confirmation number, which should be on your e-ticket receipts) or go to any Delta kiosk assist counter and have an agent print your boarding passes.
In case you print your boarding passes from the kiosk(and don't do curb-side check-in) , don't forget to mention how many pieces of luggage you will be check-in and after that locate the baggage drop counter where you can drop off the luggage.

I am coming from SEA and connecting through JFK on SAA/Delta codeshare flight to JNB. My question is does delta and SAA share a terminal? Do I have to collect my luggage and recheck it for the SAA flight? The flights are all on one ticket? Thanks in advance!

Delta from Seattle will land you most likely at T2 or T3 and SAA is at T4.
Double check with Delta at SEA(at the time of check-in your bags) if the bags will be checked through.
In case it will be checked through then you don't have to pick it up at JFK.
