You might be right - either
You might be right - either Dublin or Shannon(if not both) flights are pre-cleared in Ireland. I will double check that...
Transfer from Terminal 4 to Terminal 1
I am arriving on terminal 1 from Brazil and I have to meet my daughter, arriving from France, on terminal 4.
How do I go from T4 to T1?
Take Airtrain on the third
Take Airtrain on the third floor of T4, on track 2. T1 is two stops away(2 mins ride).
Terminal change from 3 to 8
Hi. Im thinking of arriving to JFK with Delta Air Lines DL5956 flight from Detroit at 3.44PM and have a connection to Helsinki with Finnair at 5.40PM. Are these terminals far away far away from each other? Is this 1h 56 minutes enough for collecting luggage, new check-in and changing terminal?
Thanks for your help in advance
The terminals are connected
The terminals are connected via Airtrain which make the distance not that far. It only 10-15 mins(including walking to/from stations).
I believe Delta can check your bags all the way through Helsinki - this way you don't have to pick them up at JFK. Explore that option with Delta in Detroit.
Time between two flight at JFK
Hi. Im thinkin to arrive to JFK with Finnair flight from Helsinki at 3.55PM and have a connection to FLL with Delta at 6.30PM. And other way arriving from FLL to JFK with Delta at 3.20PM and connecting back to Helsinki with Finnait at 5.45PM. You have plenty of time in both ways.
Hey JFK_Employee, i'm flying
Hey JFK_Employee, i'm flying from Winnipeg, Canada and will be pre-clearing customs prior to conecting in Minneapolis and then JFK. Arrive JFK in Terminal 3 and then connect to Air France out of T1...Customs again? Or do we just get ourselves to the appropriate gate for Air France flight?
re:Hey JFK_Employee, i'm flying
No need of customs check when you are leaving USA - just go to T1, pass security and look for your gate.
I am assuming you have your boarding pass for that flight issued by Delta. If not , go to Air France counter(before pass the security) to obtain one.

Terminal change
I am arriving from MSP on Delta and going to Port of Spain on Caribbean Airlines. Will my checked in baggage be automatically transferred from one airline to the next?
I am returning from Port of Spain to JFK and proceeding to AMS (Caribbean and Delta) do I have to clear customs at JFK when I arrive internationally before I take the next international flight in a few hours or do I transit with out clearing customs as you do in European airports?
Thanks for your help.
re:arriving from MSP on Delta and going to Port of Spain on Cari
Double check with Delta in MSP if they will check your bags all the way through POS.
On your way back you have to clear customs at JFK as you arrive from POS.

Is 2:20 hours enough?
Hi,
My flight is arriving at 2:25 pm from Miami by AA and my next flight is departing at 4:45 pm to Istanbul by Turkish Airlines. I have another option which is to arrive at 9.50 am by AA. Do you think I can make the first one? IS 2 hours 20 minutes enough for picking the luggage, changing the terminals and then checking-in? Thank you.
re:Is 2:20 hours enough?
Your first flight is domestic and this should give you enough time to do that in 2 hours and 20 mins.

transfer from terminal to another
My brother and his family will arrive from Rome on Alitalia airlines, I think they will arrive at terminal(1), is it the international terminal? Then they need to catch the flight from JFK to TPA on JetBlue. Which terminal they need to go to check in with JetBlue? And how could they transfer from terminal (1) to the terminal of JetBlue? They don't speak English very well.
They will arrive at terminal
They will arrive at terminal 1 and need to transfer to Terminal 5. Let them go to the third floor of T1 and take Airtrain on track 2 - Jet Blue terminal 5 is 3 stops away(~3mins ride). The Airtrain is free between the terminals.
