I'm arriving on Oct 9 to T4,
I'm arriving on Oct 9 to T4, and I have a connecting flight to Boston (layover time about 2 hs 25 mins.) in T8. What are the steps I should follow? Would I need to re-check my luggage? (different airlines) Is there enough time?

Hello,on fri.22oct I'm comming from SJU (AA1412)arriving 4:30PM on T8 and have a connecting flight to BRU (AA172) at 6:10PM on T8. Do we have to pick up the bags and past customs,immigration and so on??
Is there anough time for transit?

You have enough time to transfer - the flight from SJU is domestic flight - no need to go through immigration and customs and no need to pick up the bags - they will be checked through by AA.
The only procedure is to pass security on the third floor before going to the departure gate.

Transfer from Terminal 8 to Terminal 3
How much time is need and how easy is it to transfer from a Internation flight arriving to Terminal 8 and then departing from Terminal 8
Not that complicated - clear
Not that complicated - clear customs/immigration; check the bags again and go on the third floor where you can clear security and head for the gate for your second flight.
where can my friends meet me.
I land today at terminal 8 but my friends are taking a cab to the airport to pick me up. Where is the best place I can meet them after I get my luggage? Can they meet me in arrivals?

I am arriving from Caracas around 3 PM with AA and my conection is with Cathay Pacific at 10:40 PM.
Is there a place where I can take a shower. I don't have access to airline lounge.

My parents are travelling
My parents are travelling from Finland, Helsinki ( JFK Finnair) to Miami (JFK American Airlines). Their transit time is 2hrs. They have to go through immigration and custom. It’s their first time to travel so far and they are not so fluent in English.
Is there any detailed description of how and where to proceed? Thanks!

Here is description of the steps :
1. disembark the plane
2. go through US immigration.
3. pick up checked bags at the baggage belt
4. go through US customs
5. re-check bags at American Airlines connecting flights counter, located immediately after customs.
6. go to the third floor of T8 and obtain a boarding pass if they do not have one already issued by the airline. They can do that either from the self-service kiosks or from AA check-in counters.
7. go through security and look for the gate number for the flight to Miami.

my wife is coming from india to jfk by jet airways at terminal 8 with first time visa how long it will it take to go through us immigration and then she aa flight to cleveland from terminal 8 does she has to go through security again
Customs & Immigration can be
Customs & Immigration can be cleared in anything from 15 minutes to even an hour or two, depending on the amount of incoming flights at that time. Yes, for further flight, she will have to Security Check again.
Help with Baggage
My wife and 2 kids are flying in tomorrow. How can they get help to load luggage onto the cart and push it through customs? Is there Skycap services within the baggage claim area? Thanks.
