T7 is the best place to meet since the terminal is smaller and less confusing. Starbucks coffee shop on the first floor is a good reference point.

My flight from Washington DC arrives at 9:30 AM on United and the flight to Johannesburg departs at 11:15 AM. Is there enough time to go from Terminal 7 to Terminal 4 to catch the South African Airways flight?
Thanks

You have time - your first flight is domestic and you should be able to go fast from T7 to T4. Use Airtrain on track 2 - you will be at T4 in less than 5 mins.

I will be arriving from Santo Domingo by Jet Blue at 2:39 pm (Terminal 4) and leaving to Moscow, Russia at 4:25 pm by Delta 30. Will it be enough time to change the terminals and pass all necessary formalities? Can I check in the baggage in SDQ straight to a Delta flight?

You should have just enough time to clear customs/immigration (average time 30-45 minutes) and take Airtrain on the third floor of T4 one stop on track 2 to T2/3 for Delta. If you are late arriving or customs is very busy you may have a problem.

What is the best / quickest way to get from T7 to T5?

Airtrain on track 2.

We are arriving terminal 3 at 3pm Friday and departing terminal 1 at 5pm. What is the quickest way to get from T3 to T1? Would Airtrain be quicker than walking? If Airtrain then the maps show either 2 or 3 tracks, how do we get the correct one for quickest transfer?

Use Airtrain only on track 2 to get from T3 to T1.

I have 1:40 between my flights, is it sufficient time to go from T7 to T1 and take International flight? Thank you.

Take Airtrain on track 2 (terminal loop) from T7 to T1, only takes a few minutes.

Hi there,
I am part of a group of 10 people arriving Friday, Sept 17th at 7:05 am on Cathay Pacific Flight CX888 direct from Vancouver, CANADA.
We are meeting a friend who is flying domestically within the US from CLT on Jet Blue Flight 1082 that arrives at 7:48 am.
We ALL 11 want to take a van through NY Limo Coach to our rental apartment and have been asked by this company to call the driver when we're all together in front of the Jet Blue terminal.
My questions are:
* is there any reason that it would be better for us to have the Jet Blue passenger to instead to come to the Cathay Pacific terminal?
* what are the numbers of these 2 terminals (not listed on our itineraries) and how far apart are they?
any other guidance you can provide to first time NYC visitors will be greatly appreciated!
Jen

CX arrives at T7, Jet Blue arrives at T5. Since your CX flight arrives earlier , then is more convenient for the 10 people to go to T5 and wait for the last passenger.

thank you! any recommendations on how to get succinctly from terminal to terminal? cabs? never been to JFK...please help!

Use Airtrain(which is free in this case) on track 2 to get from T7 to T5.
