Price list (as of May 1st,2010) for baggage storage only at the facilities at Terminal 1 and Terminal 4.
The prices are per bag, per 24 hours:
Up to 20" - $4
21" - 24" - $6
25" - 26" - $8
27" - 32" - $11
Other(non standard bags, skis etc) - $16

You can store them at T4 luggage storage - it wil cost you aprox 3daysx$11=$33 for one bag.

Since you are arriving at T8 - see if the facility at T8 will suit you regard their working hours.

Hello,
I will be arriving to JFK on terminal 8 by AA at 8:00 am and the departure time for the air india flight to Mumbai is 9:30 pm from terminal 4.(I hope this will be the most convinient storage for me?)
Please guide me. If I keep my bags at terminal 4 storage, how can I go there from terminal 8 and how much time it will take.
Also after I collect my bags while leaving, how can I go to the terminal 4 departure.

Yes, terminal 4 facility will be the one which is most convenient for you.
At T8, go to the second floor and follow the signs to the Airtrain Station. There , take Airtrain on track 2 and get off at T4(which is three stops away). At T4 , go to the first floor and look for Hotel reservation counter - the luggage storage is right next to it.
When leaving , collect your bags from the luggage storage and then take the elevator to the 4th floor - there, look for Air India check-in counters.

Not aware of such a service.
Terminal 3, area B is the best luggage facility to use in your case.

Baggage storage for 8 hours
Hello,
I'm flying in from SFO on a redeye flight. I have an 8-hour layover before my flight to Paris and want to leave my luggage somewhere in JFK that's relatively cheap (since I'm leaving it there for only 8 hours). Are there any options that charge less than the 24 hour rate? About how much would that be?

Which airline are you flying with to Paris?
If it is Delta or American - they will let you check the bags way in advance(Delta-24hours, AA - for the day).
If not - all the luggage storage facilities at JFK will charge you minimum day price for storing the bags for 8 hours.

We only need to store our luggage for 5-6 hours in T4. Is there an hourly rate? Or we have to pay full day rate? We have mid-size luggage, how much is it? Thank you.
Access to T4 bag storage
I'm between domestic Jetblue flights and staying at a hotel near JFK. We'd like to leave our bags at JFK Rather than the hotel to avoid the hassle of going back to the hotel after spending the day in NYC. Can I access the T4 bag storage area without going through security?
