Yes Annie, it's not that far; it's actually right next to it. Just tell your parent that as soon as they come out of the terminal to start walking to their left and they are going to be able to see it.

Hi everyone, i will be flying from T1 (Royal air maroc) next month, how to get to Departure area in T1,is there more than one entrance to the T1 ?
Thank you

My husband and I are flying on 16th october from greece to JFK with a connecting flight to cleveland with delta airlines. We would like to know the following:
- do we have to take our luggage at JFK and check in for cleveland, or baggage is transferred automatically
- can checking-in be done automatically from greece directly to cleveland
- how much time do we need in order to get through the passport control so as to be on time for our connecting flight
thanking you in advance

Even though your bags are checked all the way through you will still need to pick them up at customs at JFK and have them cleared at JFK. If you see CLE on your bag tags, you will be able to drop them off at a special bag drop-off area located right after leaving customs; after that, you can go to your flight to CLE provided you have your boarding pass for that flight. On a side note, Airline Alliances don't mean much, they're just a big marketing scheme. All major airlines in the world comunicate with each other to a certain extent regardless of Alliance afiliation. So if you are connecting on a different airline, most airlines can check bags through on most flights. If they don't, in most cases you can insist strongly on it and it should happen. Have a nice flight.

If you are travelling direct by Delta airlines...you will make a dispatch direct in Greece to Cleveland, and your luggage will follow direct without necessity to redispatach in JFK, but if you will fly from another company you must to check if they have any agreement (Sky team, Star alliance, etc) that allows you dispatch direct and make a connection with a available time

Does anyone know how could i ask for information regarding passenger on a flight? I'm worried and interested to find out if my sister catched a flight between New York(JFK) and Paris (CDG). Can the airport offer me this kind of info? (if she managed to check-in). Thanks

Generally, NO; it's actually illegal for airlines to give passenger information to just anyone. If she's a US national, she will have to provide contact information for somneone not traveling with her. I would suggest of course having her give your contact information. I'm not sure if that would suffice as permision for the airline to disclose anything to you regarding your sister though. If she's not a US national or if the aformentioned is not possible. It would be best for her to inform the airline at the airport she's checking in at that she gives permision for you to receive information regarding your sister. The airline should send a message to JFK explaining this arangement. If that doesn't help, then I don't know. Good Luck!

Meeting the Copa flight at T4 tonight from Panama that arrives at 3AM, then the passenger has to go through immigration with fiancee visa. Is the terminal safe to wait in at that hour? Any idea how long immigration/customs might take, and most importantly will there be taxis at Terminal 4 if the immigration takes a while - looks like there are no other incoming flights until 5. Are there taxis and a dispatcher on duty 24 hours? Thanks!

Arrive via American @ 7:35p (Terminal 8); have to pick up checked bags and fly Jet Blue (Terminal 5) @ 9:15. 1. Do I have to go through security again? 2. Will making my flight be an issue? Thanks.

Yes, you will need to go through security at JFK. I believe American and JetBlue don't have any interline agreements so as you will have to carry your bags to JetBlue from American. I'm not sure about the time you have between flights but it looks like you should be ok, but I'm really not sure. You should check with JetBlue and see what's the latest time they will be able to check you in for your your flight at JFK.

I arrive on American (Terminal 8) with checked baggage at 7:35p and fly out on Jet Blue (Terminal 5) at 9:10p. I assume I have to go get my bags and re-check them. A) will I have to go to security and b) will I have enough time (95 min) to do it? Thanks.

Hi I am arriving JFK at 2 pm but my flight to hongkong dies not leave till 10pm.
Can I check in my bags first : head out for a meeting and come back in the evening?
Thanks

Hi. Are JetBlue arrival and departure flights both at Terminal 5, and can I easily get from one area to another? Thanks!

Jet Blue domestic is T5. Some Jet Blue international arrivals requiring customs clearance are T4.

I am the Assistant Manager of a newly TLC registered company. I was wondering how can we be listed at the airport for when the airlines or passengers need assistance.
