We, both females, are going to arrive in JFK at 10.05 pm Oct. 15 by China Airlines from Taipei. We have to check in Sheraton Hotel- Newark.

Newark it's pretty far away from JFK and taking a bus or subway it would be almost impossible if u don't know the city.. I think you are better off just taking a cab... I know there are some buses that take you from the airport to newark but Newark is not that safe. I think you shoud just take a TAXI.

I am travelling by Quwait airways and land on 16th Oct at 15.00 hrs I have a connecting flight by AA to BDA at 17.25. Is is possible to go out and meet relatives outside the terminal and return for check in

Possibly you can meet when you change terminals, you will likely arrive at terminal 4 and depart from terminal 8. You won't have much time!
Getting to Manhattan
Listen, whatever you do, do not be talked into a 'taxi' from within the terminal. After a long flight I allowed this. We were driven by an unlicensed carrier from a car park at the airport to our hotel. No hassles, straight there.
We were charged $110!!!

There is a 'Yellow Cab' line outside the terminal. Use this it is a fixed price and safe. We could have been taken anywhere by a stranger. Looking back it was dangerous and foolish. If you get approached call security. Some of these guys are not registered or insured.

Yes, take LIRR to Jamaica, walk upstairs to Airtrain and take to your terminal. Cost is LIRR fare + $5 for Airtrain.

my parents will be landing (Delta)T2 they have an international Flight at T1, they dont speak english,i wonder if it is easy for them,to go to the departure area after they walk from T2 to T1 and enter the building T1 ?

It is very easy to walk from
It is very easy to walk from T2 to T1 - Terminal 1 is located on the left-hand side as you exit T2. It is only 3-5 mins walk. Once enter T1, locate the elevators or escalators and go to the second floor where the departing flights are.
terminal EM to terminal 4
I am flying from Detroit to JFK terminal EM and tranferring to an international flight, terminal 4. I have 2 hours and 20 minutes to make the transfer. I will try to check my baggage in Detroit for the international flight. Will I have enough time to make the change from terminal EM to terminal 4 and make the international flight? How far apart are these two terminals?

Which airline are you flying from Detroit? Probably like Delta which arrives at terminal either 2 or 3 (they're connected), there's no such terminal designation EM. To get to terminal 4 take Airtrain on track 1 just one stop. You should have time to make your conncection.
