re: FROM JFK AIRPORT TO THE HYATT PLACE HOTEL IN GARDEN CITY, N
1.)Take Airtrain to Jamaica station and then LIRR train(Hempstead branch) to Garden City.
2.) From Garden City LIRR stop take LIRR train to Jamaica and then either transfer to LIRR train to Penn Station or transfer to Subway E to other points of the city.
Subway is slower but cheaper.

5 adults are due to arrive in JFK on 7 April and would like to know how to get to appartment at west 50 st, New York NY (fares/time etc)
Thanks
re:5 adults are due to arrive in JFK on 7 April
1. Airtrain to Jamaica Station and then Subway E to 50th street stop. Total cost - $7.25/passenger; time ~ 1:15 hrs.
2. Private car - go to Ground transportation/Welcome Center desk and ask the people there to show you how to order a private car. The cars can accommodate 5 adults(while the yellow cab can not) and the cost will be around $55-$60 + tip. Usually the car arrives within 10-15 mins and it takes 40-50 mins to get to the destination.
