Traveler services
Does JFK have special travelers assistance that I can buy for a passenger arriving at terminal 4 via etihad because it will be their first time flying experience. Someone that can actually be with the passenger and that can help the passenger with all procedures and immigration after entry after landing at the airport, and with luggage. I'm looking for travelers services after the passenger's flight arrives into JFK.
You should speak with
You should speak with Ethihad airways about that service at the airport.
We are going to be flying in
We are going to be flying in on Delta to terminal 2 (gate 23h) and need to get to terminal 4 (gate B26 or B20) on the 21st. What is the best way to get to terminal 4? Are we going to have to go thru security again in terminal 4?
Yes you will have to go
Yes you will have to go through security again. Use free and fast air train to get from one terminal to another. It is located on the third floor of terminal 2.
If the second flight is
If the second flight is Delta flight you can use the free Delta shuttle from T2 that will take you to T4(B-gates). The shuttle departs from gate 19 at T2 every 15-20 minutes. In that case there is no need to clear security.
Terminal 4 to Terminal 8
we are travelling from Mauritius, through Dubai by EK201, arriving at JFK on Wednesday 22 Dec at 13:50. we then have to catch the AA 2549 to Orlando FL in Terminal 8, later during the day at 19:35. we intend to try to check our luggage directly to orlando from our first departure in mauritius-can someone tell us if we will have anyway have to check out our luggage at JFK, before going to terminal 8?
since it's our very first time in US, we are a bit tensed about that change of terminal, can someone just tell us what are the procedures?
Use air train on the 3rd
Use air train on the 3rd floor of terminal 4.(That is the terminal that you will arrive in the U.S) You will have to recheck your bags in order to pass U.S Customs and you will need to go through security when you show up at terminal 8.

You will have to recheck your luggage in order to pass U.S Customs and go through security again.

Why is there no information on food avilable in these terminals? Don't people eat in NY? Do you have go through security to eat?
You can go to a snack shop
You can go to a snack shop or a coffee shop there should be some information about food. Those shops are before security so you can eat with departing or arriving passenger.
