Supposedly missing baggage....
To all who are still missing baggage, we recently just went to the airport after being told by Lufthansa to sit home and wait. We saw our bags (and tons of others) just sitting in front of Lufthansa baggage tracking office. Absolutely ridiculous, considering we asked the phone operators if we should go to JFK, they told us a waste of time. So to anyone missing bags I recommend going to the airport and looking for it there.

i was on LH 404 board on 28 december too.but no info nothink and lugagges are not into system it is shame.i have all important stuffs there!!!!i have no clothes nothink.seems nobody can help and definitely even put luggage tag into system

to catch a cruise. When my flight was cancelled the
cruise line wanted to know why I could not go to the
next port to catch up with the ship. Hello! I can't
swim from NY to Cozumel. Some people have no common

Do not fly to JFK if you can at all help it.
They should not be open, it is utter nonsense what is happening there.
I flew in from Paris last night landed at 9.30pm, we then sat on the runway waiting for a space until 4am, customs was quite quick but to add insult to injury we then waited a further 2 hours for our bags! and i left a lot of very angry people there.
They don't have the staff to operate the place right now.
DON'T OPEN THE AIRPORT UNTIL YOU'RE READY!

I completely agree about the, "Not being open until you are ready," part. A group of people from my flight, that flew in from Morocco, waited for our luggage for over 24 hours. Still unsure if they received it, but it is complete nonsense when almost the entire staff of the airport would not help us or provide accurate information. The most ridiculous part is that almost everyone from the flight received their luggage (in a very untimely fashion.. within 6-8 hours) except a good sized group of us! The staff was very rude and the airport was not very providing. They didn't provide food to the terminal area where parents were waiting for their luggage with hungry children. I really worried about the kids, and the people with health problems. Many people missed their connecting flights and were promised that their luggage would be mailed to them. But there has been no sign of luggage yet for many of us, probably because they are soooooo backed up with luggage! One woman waited in NY for 2 weeks for her luggage!!! The airport was very disorganized and under staffed. With an economy that has so many people who need employment, I cannot understand it.
Many of us will NEVER fly into JFK again or fly with Royal Air Maroc. When other flights after you receive their luggage again and again but you do not receive yours when you have been waiting over 14 hours, something is definitely wrong! Don't keep telling us it is just the weather!

If you were stuck on an airplane at JFK for more than four hours during the snowstorm, after arriving from abraod, even if you lost your bag too, I want to talk to you.
