My parents are arriving at Terminal 1 from Turkey on Turkish airlines. They have a connecting flight to SFO on American Airlines at Terminal 8. I understand they have to collect their luggage and go through immigration and customs. Are there any check in counters for AA in Terminal 1 where they can drop their check in luggage?

If not, how do they get to the Air Train to take them to 8, which track will it be on and how long will that take?

Thanks for your help!

No only terminal 8 for American Airlines check in counter. Take an air on track 2 it should be a 5 minute free ride.

Hello,
i will be flying with Royal Air Maroc from Casablanca to Orlando.
I will be arriving to JFK at T1 and have a connection flight with Delta at T3

1) after clearing customs, will i have to take my bags and carry them to T3 to recheck them again?

2) Royal Air Maroc allows me to have 2 bags, will they be accepted on the Delta flight as well? as i paid both flights at a royal Air Maroc agency.

3) where do we access T3 for departure? level1 or level2?

thanks a lot in advance

1.Yes
2.If they do have a baggage agreement they most likely will.
3. It is on level 1.

my father paid for my ticket on his credit card for me to travel to turkey, he was present when i left new york and was able to show his card at the check in now that his in new york and i am on the other side of the world he cant show his card will i have any prombles at check in this time thank u

No as long as you have your legal traveling documents such as U.S passport and/or green card with the passport of your home country you shouldn't have a problem. Please remember that these days most of the airlines tickets are electronic meaning that your name is on airline file and all you have to do is show them your travel documents.

Hi! I am trying to pick my mother up from Terminal 1 as a surprise. She doesn't have a cell phone and I was hoping to meet her as she came out (sort of like black car drivers do when they are waiting for you in baggage). Where do I park and how can I be sure of where I stand so I don't miss her! She is on an incoming Delta flight at 6:40pm this evening from Paris.

Thanks!

If your mom is arriving from Paris on terminal 1 she has to take Air France. This flight will be on code shared Delta-AirFrance-KLM and it will arrive at terminal 1. You can use terminal 1 parking lot and meet her at terminal 1 arrivals. It is a very straightforward terminal.

It will be actually Air France flight AF10 (Delta-DL8532 code-shares it). You can park at the green parking lot and wait for her on the first floor(by the Welcome Center) as the passengers are exiting from customs.

I will arrive to JFK by Aeroflot from Moscow and connect to Delta flight to San Francisco. Where I have to pass customs: in JFK or SFO? Is luggage transferred between flights in JFK? It seems that I need to get from T1 to T2: can I walk or need to take shuttle or air train?

You will clear Customs at JFK airport. You can ask your luggage to be transferred all the way to SFO but you still have to pick it up yourself and check it through U.S Customs at JFK. Use air train to transfer between t1 and t2. It should be a pretty short ride figure around 5 to 10 minutes.

Hey!

I'm kind of new at this, so any help would be greatly appreciated!
I'm traveling from CDG to JFK (Air France) and then I have a connecting flight to McCarran (Delta).

I arrive to JFK at 15:40, to Terminal 1 of course.

My next flight is at 18:00, from Terminal 3.

1) Is it enough time to get my luggage clear US customs and immigration?
2) After I finish clearing that, where do I recheck my luggage? Do I hand them to someone in Terminal 1? Or should I carry the luggage with me to Terminal 3?
3) If I have to carry the luggage with me, what is the easiest way to get from T1 to T3? AirTrain or walking?

Thanks in advance!

From Terminal 1 the easiest way to get to Terminal 2 is walking.
