I need to pick up my father at JFK and plan to take a train to Boston. Is there any airtrain or shuttle bus conneted to the train station to Boston?

You can take the NY Airporter bus ($15) from terminal to Penn Station or AirTrain from terminal to Jamaica Station and transfer to LIRR to Penn Station ($10-$13).

I am arriving at Terminal 4 at 6:45 AM from India. I have one piece of Strolley suitcase. Need to catch AirTrain to LIRR Jamaica station. My queries:

1)How much time does custom clearance take?
2) How much do I have to walk in the terminal to catch the AirTrain?
3) Where do I have to buy the ticket from? Is Metro card compulsory? Or cash is sufficient?
4) From LIRR Jamaica station, I need to buy a ticket for Hicksville or Glenhead. Can anyone pls guide?

1)customs can take anywhere from 30-60 minutes.
2)you will walk to the 3rd floor of T4 for AirTrain. Take AirTrain on track 1 marked to Jamaica Station.
3&4)When you get off of the AirTrain at Jamaica there are self service kiosks where you can purchase your AirTrain ($5) and LIRR fare ($5.75 off-peak) on the same ticket; LIRR fare on one side and a $5 Metrocard on the other side. Simply swipe the Metrocard side to pay and exit AirTrain and hold on to the ticket to give to the conductor on LIRR. The kiosk instructions are fairly easy to follow however there are folks available to help you navigate.

Thanks a ton:-)

My 3 yr old and I will be landing on 3/16 at JFK 11:55hr, from FRA to connect AA Terminal 8 at 14:55 hr. We have 4 luggages and will check them to our final destination. I clearly understood that we have to collect all our luggages then to the custom clearances. May I know how big is the luggage cart and will it fit all 4 luggages measuring 24"(H) each? How much does the rental cart cost? Will the ground crew be able to assist me with pushing the cart and lifting the luggages since I have a toddler with me?
After the custom clearances, is there a AA check in counter at terminal 4 itself to recheck the luggages or must I take the cart all the way to terminal 8 with the air train?
Is there a better way to recheck the luggages for a traveling mom with a toddler that requires ground assistance, and do we have ample time to get to terminal 8 for our connection flight? Thanks!

Hi. My question is similar to others on here but I'm unclear of my specific terminals. I'm flying JetBlue from LAX to JFK, arriving at 4pm on the 19th of March. My connecting Turkish Airlines flight departs (I believe from Terminal 1) at 5:45pm.
Is this a make-able connection? (Assuming no delays or cancellations?)
Also, is there a way that one of the airlines could help transfer my checked luggage from JetBlue to Turkish in order to save me time waiting at baggage claim?

It's make-able provided no delays. You'll arrive at T5, Turkish is at T1 so take AirTrain on track 2 from T5 to T1. Ask at LAX check-in if Jet Blue can check your bags all the way through on Turkish. If not you'll need to collect your bags and re-check at Turkish.

hi, i will be arriving from chicago to JFK by american airlines ( i m not sure of terminal)and then i have to go to terminal 4 to catch my international flight in 2 hours time. What is the fastest and easiest way to reach terminal 4 ? I will have luggage with me, so is it easy to carry it in airtrain ? wat about security clearance?

You'll arrive at T8 so take AirTrain on track 2 from T8 to T4. Takes about 5 minutes or so. No problem taking luggage or luggage carts on AirTrain. You will need to clear security at T4.

What stop do I get off from Ronkoma for Air Train to Jfk?

Also on my return- to Jfk where do I pick up Air Train
to get back to LIRR heading to Ronkonkoma?

Take LIRR to Jamaica, train from Ronkonkoma will stop there. Walk upstairs to AirTrain. On return follow signs in terminal to AirTrain and take train on track 1 to Jamaica Station. You can purchase your LIRR and AirTrain fares on one ticket from the LIRR self-service kiosks.
