I will be arriving on may21 on jetblue B65 in terminal 5 and departing 1 1/2hr later on jetblue B641 in terminal 5. Will i need to claim my baggage and go thru security again or what will i be required to do, i have never flown before.

If your first flight is from outside the U.S you will need to clear it through Customs and Immigration. If are arriving from within the U.S you should have your bags checked all the way to your final destination since you will be flying on the same airlines. Both flights will take place at terminal 5 so adds are that you wont have to clear security again.

Yes you will make that connection. Go to the 3rd floor of terminal 4 take an air train on track 2 to terminal 5. One minute trip.

Use air train at terminal 5 on track 2 to terminal 4 it will be 2 minute trip. Take an air train at terminal 1 on track 2 to terminal 5,2 minute trip as well.

I will be taking a JetBlue flight that comes in at T5 and will be connecting to an American flight that goes out of T7. I won't have bags to check and will only have 55 minutes to make the connection. Will I be able to make it and which AirTrain should I take? Thanks!

You will be close, hope your Jet Blue flight arrives on time. Take any AirTrain on track 1 from T5 to T7, only takes a few minutes.
