Last week I took Cathay Pacific flight from JFK to Hong Kong. (CX845)I found my camera which I put in my luggage was missing. I knew the security check would take out the battery from the camera. Would they forget to put it back? The camera is really expensive and important to me!! Is there anyway you can check it for me? I will be so so so appreciated!!! My bag tag no is CX036407/CX 036406.

Give it a shot and call Cathay Pacific directly or you can call lost and found number on this forum board.

I will be arriving at JKF terminal 5 and my friend will be arriving at terminal 7 around the same time. We want to take a cab into Manhattan together. How do I get to the taxi stand in terminal 7 from terminal 5?

From terminal 5 take an air train on track 1 to terminal 7, 1 minute trip. Once you get off the airtrain take an elevator downstairs follow the exit signs to the street. Taxis should be right outside.

I will be bringing my son to JFK for trip to Iceland via Icelandic Air. Is it practical to expect to be able to stay with him in the terminal (i'll be non-ticketed) or is it best to just drop him off? In other words, I'm unsure of how far I can accompany him inside the terminal. Also, when I go to the airport to pick him up when he arrives at JFK via Icelandic Air, if I get to the terminal a few hours before his scheduled landing, will there be somewhere I can sit until he arrives?

If your son is traveling as an unaccompanied minor you can ask Icelandair at check-in if they will issue you a gate pass to accompany him to the gate, if not he's on his own after clearing security. You can wait for him at the international arrivals area.

Thanks for the answer!

You can only accompany your son up to security at terminal 7. You can either leave him when he goes through security or if you arrive early you can sit with him in the pre security area at terminal 7. Use your own discretion in this case.

Can anyone give me specific instructions for the location of the First-Class check-in desk for JFK Terminal 7 British Airways? Do F Class pax have dedicated security? Once past security, how does one get to the Concorde Room? If someone can provide brief walking instructions from entry to Terminal to the Concorde room, (left, right, up, down, etc.) that would be fabulous. I have an elderly gent would is very independant, but we give him a little cheat sheet to follow. Lastly, I understand that smoking is allowed in certain liquor bars - any one know which ones (and their location - next to gate X, for example)? Many thanks!!

I will be arriving in JFK at 10:30pm and would like to know if i can check-in to british airways when i arrive for my flight in 8:00am and enter the terminal. If i can't, is there any suggestion i can do?

Thanks

Yes you can.

what is the fastest way to get to terminal 7 from terminal 5? I will arrive on a jetblue domestic flight at 8:30 a.m, my ANA flight from Terminal 7 leaves at 12.30pm. I will need to check-in at Terminal 7 for my international flight

From terminal 5 take an air train on track 2 to terminal 7(1minute trip). Yes you will have to recheck your bags and clear security again at terminal 7.
