We are departing Montreal and arriving at JFK at 8:05 am. We go through US customs before leaving the country, do we still need to clear US customs when arriving? We are flying American Airlines and our connection to Dallas leaves at 9:00 a.m., will we have enough time? I was told that our luggage will be sent to our final destination and that we do not need to get it between flights, is this true?

Yes you will clear customs in Montreal. If both of your flights are on American Airlines you may have a chance of making this connection. Otherwise it will be very tight for you. Once you arrive at JFK watch gate number on your boarding pass for your second flight.

Hi. I would like to know how can I go from the terminal 1 JFK airport to Hotel Carter. Sincerely I want to travel in the cheapest to save some money. Thank you!

um kinda nervous abt travelling tru jfk.will b leaving from IAD TO JFK to connect with SAA airlines.do i hv to go thru security nd can i walk from terminal 4 to 7 nd still hv time for my flight.1 hour connection waiting.i hv an infant.

Its kinda tight for to make your connection. To get from terminal 4 to terminal 7 take an air train on track 1. One minute trip, no need to walk between those two.

hi, I am arriving from buffalo to jfk on jet blue flight 107. arrive at jfk at 8.28 am. Which terminal will flight 107 arrive on?

I then need to take a flight on emirates at 11.20 am going to dubai, so need to transfer to international sector. This will be from terminal 4.

Is there enough time in order for us to do the necessary clearances before we board the emirates flight?

thanks

You have a good time frame of 3 hours between the flights. Jetblue arrives at terminal 5 and Emirates at terminal 4. From terminal 5 take an air train on track 2 to terminal 4.

Jetblue arrives at Terminal 5. Take the airtrain to T4, then take your flight. Make sure you have everything already printed out and ready (e.g. boarding pass, travel documents) and also make sure that you organized so that security will go quick. You should be at the gate at 10:20 if all goes well. Anything after that is cutting it close.

I will be arriving on Delta (terminal 3) at 8:00 pm and departing on Air France (terminal 1) at 9:50 pm. Is 1:50 enough time to make the connection comfortably? How do I get from T-3 to T-1? Go through security again? Many thanks.

My understanding is that your first flight is domestic and on Delta. If thats the case you should have enough time for your connection. From terminal 3 take an air train on track 2 to terminal 1. You will clear security prior to flight with Air France at terminal 1.

Yes, you're correct. I'll be arriving JFK from Vermont on July 20th, so switching from domestic to international (to CDG). I was hoping that 1:50 was enough time to make that transfer. I'm assuming that my bags will be checked through to CDG, so no time needed for picking up baggage, correct? You are kind to take the time to answer everyone's questions. Thank you very much.

You are welcome. Your bags should be clipped all the way to CDG.
