From terminal 1 take an air train on track 1 to terminal 8. Two minute free air train trip.

I will arrive at terminal 4 and will go directly to terminal 8, how can I do so ( I have 3 hours in between)??
From terminal 4 arrivals
From terminal 4 arrivals hall take automatic stairs to the 3rd floor of terminal 4 take any train on track 1 to terminal 8. It should take 2 minutes for you to do that. By the way you have plenty of time for a flight connection with 3 hours on your hands.

My brother is coming from
My brother is coming from Hungary. they will arrive at gate C43 term. 8 and changing planes at Terminal 8, Gate C32F
They have a connecting flight to Chicago. Question is: Do they have to use any trains to get to the C32F gate or it is in walking distance?
do they have to pick up luggage clear customs, exit and than re-check in at the departures or they do not need to pick up luggage before clear customs, and when it is done they can just walk to the departure gate without checking in all over again?

It is walking distance of about 5 minutes.
He will be arriving on the international flight so yes he will have to clear Customs upon arrival from Hungary and he will need to recheck his bags for his second connecting flight.

Making a connection
We depart from Montreal and arrive at 8:05 am. We normally clear US customs before we leave the country, do we still need to proceed through US customs when arriving? Also, we have a connecting flight at 9:00 a.m. to Dallas, do we have enough time to make the connection? (We are on American Airlines for both flights). Finally, we were told that we do not need to pick up our luggage between flights and that the airline will make sure they get to our final destination, is this true?

Yes it is true. You will clear Customs in Canada and your bags should be clipped all the way to your final destination,however, your time frame is tight. I hope that your first flight is on time from Montreal,Canada. Once you arrive at JFK watch gate number on your boarding pass for your second flights connection.

I am picking up passengers who will be arriving on an international flight at Terminal 8. Somebody told me that all international travelers now come through customs at Terminal 4, so I should pick the people up at Terminal 4. Is this correct?

No, it depends on the airline. While most international flights do arrive at T4 some also arrive at other terminals.

Walk between Terminals
Is it possible to walk from Terminal 7 to Terminal 8? I know there is a Sky Train but I want to walk and have plenty of time. How much time would it take to walk this distance?

I am a Hungarian tourist. It was my question that I would like to travel home from San Francisco to Budapest (Hungary). I found a ticket with a good price on American Airlines. I have to change in New York. My airplane comes to the Terminal 8 from San Francisco and I leave from there to Budapest. Only 40 minutes are the change times. Will this be enough?
