I will be arriving terminal 5 from Bermuda and departing out of termina 8. Is there transportation between the 2 terminals? How long should we allow in between?

In this case take an air train from terminal 5 on track 1 to terminal 8. It should take about 2 minutes.

From T8 take an air train on track 2 to terminal 5. It takes about 2 minutes.

hi, i'm arriving from Cleveland to terminal 8 at 13:55 pm and i need to catch Finnair flight to Helsinki at 17:40 pm. Do i have enough time for that? Do I need to pick up my bags from baggage claim and do new check-in? I have two separated flight tickets, flight from Cleveland to New York and from New York to Helsinki

You may have to pick up the bags if both flights are on separate tickets but you have plenty of time to do it especially with no Customs and Immigration involved in the process.

Yes plenty of time to go sightseeing but remember to be back at JFK 2 hours prior to your second flight.

I am assuming that both flights are on American Airlines so if thats the case both will take place at terminal 8.

Hi, I'm arriving into JFK on a domestic flight and will then be continuing my journey to Australia via Singapore Air Lines.

I have to change terminals at JFK, can anyone please tell me how I get between terminals and do I have resposability to ensure my luggage is transferred between terminals and air lines?

At your original destination you can ask for your bags to be tagged all the way to Australia so you dont have to worry about baggage. Singapore Airlines is at terminal 4 but you would have to give me your first airlines name to help you out from one terminal to the other?
