Cheapest is by AirTrain/subway $7.25: take AirTrain on track 1 from terminal to Jamaica Station, transfer to E subway for 5 stops to Forest Hills/71st Ave, transfer to the R subway to Lexington/59th St, walk north to 62nd St and then east on 62nd St to hotel. Cheapest but a long walk from the subway!

Less walking to transfer
Less walking to transfer subways, especially with luggage, since the E stop is Lexington/53rd and #6 stop is actually at 51st St. You just need to change trains at Forest Hills or even Jackson Hgts from the E to the R subway which stops at the same location as the #6-Lexington/59th St.

Take the NYAirports bus to Port Authority Bus Terminal which is a few blocks from Times Square. For Central Park you can take the uptown C subway from Port Authority to 59th St (south end of the park) or continue on as far up as Cathedral Pkwy (north end of the park). The Museum of Natural History is at 81st St.
